Red-winged Blackbirds are very protective of their nests. The male birds are the ones who are black with gold and red on their wings. Onyx is a young female bird who wants to join the Blackbirds but can't because it's a group for boys only. Complicating matters is a man named Carter who was attacked by a red-winged blackbird. Carter is determined to get revenge. There's a lot going on behind them bushes.
