This is dedicated to our colleagues, our teacher and the English department manager. We are very grateful for all the support we received throughout the completion of the work, we feel that it was a great support to carry out all the activities correctly, as well as that they gave us good feedback when reviewing our work.

Carol Sanders was a young girl who lived in Hong Kong for seven years, her father was a businessman and her mother worked as a secretary. She was happy at school, with many friends; with whom she had a good time.
She liked pop music, the Rolling Stones, David Bowie and Jake Rosso were her favorites. Jake Rosso was her favorite singer, she had hundreds of photos on her bedroom wall.



When she was at school her father died in an airplane crash cause he was returning to his house in Hong Kong, cause he was a business man and he was always traveling.

He was traveling because he was a businessman, the airplane crashed on the sea and everybody died.
After her father's death, she stopped doing her work at the college, she starts to go out with some friends, they were different from her other friends, her mom didn’t like them, she told Carol “They’re bad people”, “They do dangerous things”.




Carol knew she was angry but she didn’t care. She learned her friends took drugs, and she started taking drugs too. The police arrested some of the students who took drugs.







When she grew up she returned to England because she was expelled from school for using drugs

She went to London and she started to live in a hotel, at first, it was strange, everybody spoke english but over time she got used to it.






Carol’s mother told her she needed a job. They looked in the newspaper, Carol found a job in the newspaper, someone needed a secretary on a private island in Scotland, that person was Greta Ross.

Carol’s mother liked the job and she called Greta Ross, they met at Savoy Hotel. Greta Ross made Carol’s mom some questions, then she continued interviewing her in a room. Greta made a call and then she told Carol’s mom “You’ve got the job”.
