1. To my partner for helping me with this project and organizing all of our ideas.
2. To the teacher for being there for us and helping us all along this project.
3. And to all the people that enjoy reading and also the one who read the book: Dead Man’s Island.

Carol lived in Hong Kong for 7 years. She was very happy since she had many friends. She liked school. She lived very happy with her family, etc. But with the loss of her father, her friends, and the death of her favorite singer, she did not feel very comfortable. This led her to do inappropriate things and they had to move to England.
Carol's Live in Hong Kong

I love live in Hong kong
The singer of Carol's suffers an accident
Carol liked music, but the one she preferred was pop music such as: The Rolling Stones, David ...and Jake Rosso.er favorite singer was Jake Rosso, who died in a car accident the year Carol left the school. But Carol listened at the time of the pop records and had hundreds of photos and images of him on her bedroom wall.

it can't be possible that this happened to Jake Ross
Carol's father Died in an aero crash
Carol had a very happy family. But one day, her father had to take a business trip to Sydney, Australia for two weeks. Carol wanted to be with her father but she could not, so she was angry. At the time her father was going home, an unexpected event happened, the plane her father was on crashed. Carol was very sad for the event and could not believe it.

Daughter the plane your father was crashed on
NOOOOOO! can be
Carol's had to move back to england
When Carol's mother found out that she had been expelled from the university, she was not happy at all. This led to the decision to return to England. For Carol this was good because they could have a new start somewhere else. Her mother could find a new and better job and Carol a new university. It would also help them to get over all those bad times they lived in Hong Kong like the death of Carol’s father.

Daughter for your behavior we are going to live in England

If it seems good to me, we can start again
Carol's Mother is looking for job in the newspaper.
Carol's mother was looking for a job, so Carol got her a newspaper, and then she saw an ad that said a secretary was needed }during the summer months on a small private island in Scotland., Her mother telephoned Greta Ross and they agreed to see each other and find out if Carol's mother had obtained the job, which she had.

Nice to meet you, sir

The pleasure is mine, my name is Mrs. Ross
We believe that in the next chapter Carol will mistrust Mr. Ross, because she will find a photo in which she is with Mr. Ross. He will never show what he is hiding behind the doors of his office. He will start spying on Carol, so she can't find out anything and Carol will get a new job on the farm.
1. A relevant moment that I liked on page 52 of the book Dead Man's Island, by the Author John Escott, was when he decides to write books for people of all ages, since this marks a great change in his life (from working in business to writing books).
About the Autor
2. One relevant moment that I liked about the author was that when John Escott is not working on making books, he likes to read forgotten books in the library or watch old Hollywood movies.

Favorite Scenes
Our favorite moment was when Carol agrees to go to England because she can start a new happy life in another place with her mother. That would also help her forget the bad memories she lived in Hong Kong such as the death of her father, among other things.
