Task 1:
John Scott was born in Somerset, England in 1805, had 6 children and was the author, editor and narrator of children's books, among his best known books are A Pretty Face Cassette, The Wild West and Dead Man's Island.
John Escott has published Factfile films for Oxford Bookworms such as Girl on a Motorbike, The Fly and the Scarlet Letter for the Oxford Bookworms Library.

Task 2:
My favorite scene from the book is found in chapter three when Carol upon arriving at the private island begins to suspect Mr. Rossn and begins to be curious about what is happening and tries to investigate to find out the true identity of Ms. Ross. And I like it because Carol, when she is curious, begins to investigate and does not give up until she finds out the whole truth.
