¿What is social media for you?

Social media are online platforms that allow people to develop virtual relationships and to promote different activities throuhg easy access to advertising and selling any type of products; People can access all those services and connections having apps on their phones and laptops. However, not everything is so positive, in recent years social media have become a way to destroy people's self-esteem, of selling and the erratic idea of perfection and to separate instead of bringing us together because you can have access to someone else's life just by clicking "follow".

¿What's the impact of social media in your life?

I consider that social media haven't had the best impact in my life because although they are not that important to me, I feel that they have negatively influenced the way I see some aspects of life even when I know it is not the right way to perceive them and I'm aware of it. I also spend more time than I should on being online and I have allowed myself to have wrong ideas about life by using those platforms.

¿Are people responsible enough to use social media?

The majority of people are not responsible enough in the use of social networks because they are spending big amounts of time on them, they write wherever they want without asking themselves if that comment can harm others if the information the upload is true or false and the most dangerous one: sharing false ideas.

¿How does social media affect communication between family and friends?

Social media is negatively affecting communication between families and friends because instead of bringing them together, it gives the chance to share using a virtual app and that is changing the way we all perceive reality and the way we build real and strong connections with other humans.
