Hi, my name is Benjamin. I'm a Bulldog, and here's
my story. This is what I look like.

Benjamin the Bulldog
August 15, 2020
It's me, Benjamin! The one and only Benjamin. You see, if I had the option to change my name, I would. Which person, in the right state of mind, names their dog Benjamin? If you were wondering that, I was too.
My owners got me from a junkyard. That was where I was left . . . to probably rot away. But their plan didn't go out as planned, because that's
when I met Lucky. Lucky was also left in the same junkyard I was in (to probably rot away) and we became life-long friends!
Yeah, it's pretty uneventful for two dogs to meet each other at a JUNKYARD! That's totally crazy. Self respect, please.
I'm usually played around with like some Barbie toy. Here's what I mean: Someone comes to keep me, and after a week or two, they decide to put me back in the junkyard.
Okay, talking about self respect, did I ever get to tell you about this horrible place I'm in. The junkyard used to be my owner's "home." Literally! He slept here, ate here . . . he just LIVED here. And I was totally OK with that. As long as he and I were together forever.
BUT, that relationship didn't last too long. I remember it like it was yesterday, and infact, it was yesterday. OK, here we go:
My owner's boss raised his rent, so he couldn't
afford to live in the junkyard anymore. He packed up all his things and left. He just left. And now, Lucky's sleeping. Man! I wonder what his was like.
Well, I guess I better stop writing, Diary. I have to rest, as well.
See you later, Diary!

Hey, guys! Uh, I mean Diary. Good news and bad news coming your way. If you're reading this on a Monday, especially morning, please don't. Your morning will be TOTALLY ruined! OK, I'm just joking. When you're a Bulldog, you have to tell a few jokes here and there to cover up how big you are!
Here we go! The good news is that Lucky got adopted by Daniel and Jessica. Isn't that great?
And the bad news is A CAT JUST MOVED INTO THE JUNKYARD! No,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no! This can't be happening. Wait a second. Is the cat moving . . . to ME?! She must be nuts!
"Hello, Cutie," she hisses to me. I kind of blush, because no one thinks I'm adorable or cute. If I should refresh your memory of what I look like, this is me:

Not too shabby, huh? Yeah, I'm TOTALLY UGLY!!! The cat begins sniffing my butt. GROSS! I kick her in the face.
"Owww," she whines. "What'd you do that for? I thought that's how you greet each other?"
"YEAH," I snarl. "Only dogs sniff other dog's butts to say hello to each other!"
"Oh," she said.
She called me a cutie, so I decided to be sorta polite. If you understand, cats and dogs do NOt get
along. When Lucky was still here, he always told me, 'Back in the olden days, our ancient grandparents fought wars against the cats.' And that always made me feel better.
"I can tell you don't have a name," she said. "What's your name?"
"Benjamin," I say. "Go ahead. Start laughing."
"I won't laugh," she said against my will. "Infact, you and I could escape from this stinky junkyard tomorrow. Alright?"
"I guess," I muttered.
Wish me luck, Diary.
