Graig, a boy who feels like an outcast in his family, discovers a magical garden and meets a strange man named Zorgo. Zorgo tells Graig that he is a hero and must save their world from Horace. With the help of Zorgo and his friend Bat, Graig embarks on a journey to Horace's castle and defeats him. When Graig returns home, he realizes that his family doesn't appreciate him, but he finds solace in reading about the mysterious place called Karabek.
