Hello Reader of the past. I am Syeda, from the future, from the year of 2050 and I have put this journal, my journal, in a time travel device to  teleport  this book way to the past to 2020.  This is about my adventure to Mercury, and how it turned out. I hope you enjoy learning about the future, and Mercury!

Hello my name is Syeda, I am 31 years old and Yes Yes Yes! Tomorrow is the day I go explore Mercury! I wanted to go to Jupiter, Or Uranus to collect some diamonds, but the space company decided they wanted me to explore Mercury. Well, I guess it was better than nothing. I'm the dare devil type, you know, wants to take risks. Its 2050 and Technology has gotten WAY better. I was wearing a space suit  which can cool me down very fast (Even if temperatures reach up to 6,000 degrees! I told you technology evolved!) and can keep me warm (Even if temperatures reach -990 degrees!)

So I guess I will be safe. Mr. Crunch, my boss,  wanted me to see if the space suit would fit me, and it does! I am so exited!

OMG! I am so exited. I am about travel to Mercury! I am boarding a rocket ship that can travel at the speed of light which is pretty cool if you ask me. All the astronomers are behind me, watching me about to board. I would reach Mercury in about 4.2 minutes since I am traveling at the speed of light. All of the astronomers are clattering about something but I can't hear what. There are news FCs (Flying cars) everywhere! As soon as I board the rocket, I freeze,and gasp. The rocket was so beautiful! I sat down in the seat and Then after a while, I heard the countdown starting by 10. 

I held down tight. "3,2,1!" I heard. The rocket burst into the air! It felt like I was sinking into my seat. I closed my eyes very tight and trying not to throw up. This was the fastest I have ever been in my whole life! 4.2 minutes felt like 2 whole hours. I opened my eyes, I landed! relief fled through me. I looked out the window. No life at all. "Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?" It was the radar. It was probably the boss who was talking to me, Mr. Crunch.

"Yes, I can hear you loud and clear sir."  I say.

"Great, Now go explore," Instructed Mr. Crunch, "You will stay there for a whole day, then you will report back to us, okay?"

"Okay." I say. I was a little scared spending a whole day alone on another planet, but I had all the supplies. As soon as I step outside, The sun is beating down on me. I was about to faint from how hot it is, but then my space suit saved me by cooling me down. I check on the arm of my space suit and says the temperature was 800 degrees Fahrenheit. I whistled. That was HOT! I learned somewhere that Mercury was hot in the morning, but at night the temperature drops to -279 degrees Fahrenheit. If that's not crazy weather, I don't know what is. The first thing I do is worry. Mr. Crunch said that I have to spend 1 day here, That's pretty scary. I just found out 1 year on Mercury would by 88 whole days only! Mercury's orbit is pretty fast. 

Mercury is also the  smallest planet in our solar system and it looks like the moon! I look at the sun. It is HUGE! I would say about 3 times larger than what we could see from Earth. I jump around. I jump higher than in Earth. Since there is no atmosphere on Mercury, The sky is not blue, it is pitch-black. I could still see though. I also heard Mercury had some very violent magnetic storms! I do not want to be stuck in any of those. I explored  a little and there were craters everywhere. I got a little tired and went back to the space ship to sleep.

October 18, 2050 Time: ?? (That is the date on Earth, not Mercury. I also have NO IDEA what time is at Earth). 

I woke up to the sound of the radar. "Syeda, are you ready to go home?" 

"Yes please!" I screamed at the radar. I was having trouble sleeping in my space suit. Plus, even though my suit was cooling me, It was 100 degrees in suit so It was really hard to sleep. I was done with Mercury! I was so happy that I finally got to go to my home planet, Earth! I jumped in my seat of the rocket and blasted of. I was not really that exited of blasting off in the speed of light again.

I landed where I first took off. The News FCs were there taking pictures of me as I got out of the rocket. Mr. Crunch came over to me and we shook hands. "Great job Ms. Syeda!" Mr. Crunch congratulated me.

"Why thank you." I beamed. All my family members came to me and hugged me. It was the best day of my life! I got a $1,000,000. I also got called to interviews. I was so famous! But that wasn't the best part, the best part was that I learned new things about Mercury, and I am eager to find out more about other stuff! I hope you past reader enjoyed reading about the future!
