I dedicate this book to my sister because she tells me many stories about aquatic mythological beings, she loves stories like that and taught me to like it too. In this book you will find curiosities about beings and animals that live or have already entered the ocean!!

Mermaids are not always that sweet. They're smart and they're great at creating strategies. They can have a charming figure, beautiful straight hair, big eyes and an angelic face... but it's not always like that. They are always just with the torso out of water because the bottom is not human, it is the tail of a fish or even the underside of a shrimp. They stand on the edge of the boat, drawing the sailor's attention closer to the edge of the boat so they can pull it into the water. There are people who believe they stood on top of a rock singing to bewitch the sailor. This mythological being was stun many thousands of years ago, although some people believe that they are still alive, while others think it never even existed.

Seahorse. Yes, the seahorse is an animal still existing in the ocean... but it's not about that seahorse I'm going to talk about. The giant seahorses were stupendures a long time ago. A lot of people call it "The Giant White Horse." There are people who claim to have seen this horse's head in the water in oceans when they were swimming, others say the horse does not have below the torso. The origin of this animal is unclear. But there are no records or confirmations that this animal is still alive. And in case anyone found him... I'm probably not going out alive. They say he has sharp nails and blue eyes that glow at night.

Living water is a magnificent animal that still lives in the oceans. They have tentacles that exposed to the human body can cause skin burns. The jellyfish radiates bright light at night when it feels a little irritated or as a method to attract its prey that are certainly mesmerized by its beauty. Living water is named after being composed almost entirely of water, more than 90% of its body is water, this animal is part of the cnidarian phylum. So stay tuned before leaving your foot exposed to water to avoid burns.

Sea monsters. Many people know the history of Loch Ness, but do you know the origin of sea monsters? Keto or Keto (Greek: Κητư), in Greek mythology, is a primordial marine deity daughter of The Points, the Sea, and Gaia the Earth. The name Cetus, meaning "monster", is how the ancient Greeks called whales, which to them were sea monsters. Keto is the embodiment of the dangers of the sea. She was more specifically a goddess of whales, sharks and sea monsters. Also thought of as the goddess of the strange, colorful and exuberant horrors and forms that the sea can produce and reveal to men. Sister and wife of Forcis, the goddess receives these epithets: Krataiis (Κράταιις, "mighty, from the rocks"); Lamía (Λαμία, "the shark"); Trienos (Τρίενος, "within three years"). Its symbols are whales; sharks; big fish and the sea.
