ARBOL DEL AMOR
(Cercis siliquastrum)
It is called Judas Tree because it is believed that Judas hanged himself in one of these trees. The flowers are edible and can be added to salads, eaten fried, or they can be preserved in spicy marinade. It is a popular astringent because of its pods. The bark is also used against headaches and flu.

CIRUELO ROJO
(Prunus pisardi)
A remarkable tree with an oval to rounded, fairly dense crown, that often grows somewhat bent. It attains a height of approx. 6 - 8 m.
The bark is dark brown to purple-brown. Young twigs are dark red. The leaves are oval to ovoid and approx. 8 cm in size. They are dark reddish-brown and retain their colour until late into the autumn. The tree produces a great many pink, single flowers. They are approx. 2.5 cm in diameter and appear from late March and in April, a little before or simultaneous with the emergence of the leaves. They are seldom followed by dark red fruit, 2 - 3 cm in size.

MORERA
(Morus alba)
A tree up to 18 m tall, with smooth grey bark when it is young, but which becomes brown or grey with age. The leaves are deciduous, simple, and alternate, 3 to 22 cm long.
They are very variable in shape: oval, rounded or with two or more lobes, always with a toothed margin and long, hairy leaf stalks where you can see latex when they are broken.The flowers are not very showy and are unisexual.It is believed to be native to central and eastern Asia.

FALSO LAUREL
(Prunus laurocerasus)
Originated in Europe, it is up to 3 meters high and wide, has a persistent foliage and bright green. The cherry laurel "rotundifolia" is adorned with a beautiful spring flower in white bunches, followed by black drupas toxic to man but edible to birds. The cherry blond is ideal for forming hedges thanks to its dense and perennial foliage

PLÁTANO (Platanus hispánica)
A large tree that can be more than 40 m tall. It has a straight trunk and dense crown. Its bark is a mosaic of green, gray and yellow tones, which peels off easily in large sheets. The leaves are deciduous, simple, alternate and palmate with 5 lobes that have sharp irregular points. They are large and measure 12-22 cm in length and 12-30 cm in width. The fruits are globose, and measure 3-5 cm in diameter.
This tree is native to the eastern Mediterranean, southeastern Europe and western Asia



ALIGUSTRE
(Ligustrum sp)
It originates around the Mediterranean region (Africa / Europe), reaching central and northern Europe. The flowering season is from May to July. The leaf is permanent, the flowers are white and the fruits are bluish black. Is often used to form hedges, supporting pruning well. It is especially used for fencing shapes, figures and ornaments in gardening.

ADELFA
(Nerium oleander)
The oleander is an ornamental plant of the Apocynaceae family, relatively common, but extremely toxic.
It is a large shrub, and can be around 3 to 5 m high. Its flowers can be white, pink or red. The leaves are narrow and long, sometimes described as spearheaded.
It is an undemanding plant in terms of temperature and humidity.
It’s native from the Mediterranian region to China. Cultivated as an ornamental plant in gardens all around the world.

Fresno
(Fraxinus excelsior)
It is a large tree, up to 40 m in height, which is characterised by its dark brown, almost black buds.
The leaves are deciduous, opposite, and compound, comprising 7-13 leaflets (pinna), which are usually 15-45 mm wide, arranged in pairs with a terminal leaflet (odd-pinnate). Their margins are uniformly serrated and they lack hairs on both sides. The seed, which is elongated, has a wing that helps its dispersal by wind. It is found across much of Europe and Asia, becoming scarcer towards the south

(Liquidambar stiraciflua)
Broadleaf deciduous tree, (45) m high, pyramidal to oblong crown . Stems rounded to somewhat angled. Leaves alternate, simple, blade 7-19 cm long and 5-16 cm wide, star-shaped, usually 5 lobed, sometimes 7, finely serrate lobes, deep glossy green above, paler below
"Exhaling when bruised a pleasant resinous fragrance". Leaves are held late, and trees from seedlings have variable fall color, yellow, purple, or red. Fruit (capsules) aggregate to form a woody, mace-like cluster. Native from North America

ESPINO DE FUEGO
(Piracantha coccinea)
It comes from Asia and southern Europe, it is a Perennial shrub and can reach 4 meters in height.
Its flowering season is from April to May, in Continental, Equatorial, Mediterranean, Subtropical, Temperate and Tropical Climate
Its fruit is called drupa and it serves as food for the birds during the winter. The seeds ingested by man can cause mild stomach irritation.

Sauce Llorón
(Salix babylonica)
Tree that can reach 10 m in height, with thick trunk sometimes sloping; the bark has robust main branches and young flexible and hanging branches that can touch the ground. The leaves are deciduous (what happens in autumn), are inserted alternately over the simple branches. They have feminine and masculine flowers.
The fruit is a small conical capsule, dehiscent by 2 valves, with numerous seeds covered with hair to promote dispersion. It is used for wicker production

MAGNOLIO
(Magnolio grandiflora)
The camel tree is an evergreen shrub or tree, reaching a height of up to 15 m.
It has got a rounded crown, very branchy and a smooth trunk, without thorns, brown or dark green. It has simple, alternate, ovate or elliptical leaves, with 4 to 10 cm in length, with a sharp apex, with a finely sawn edge, very leathery and short petioles. Hermaphrodite flowers, solitary or in pairs, arranged in the terminal part of the branches.
Native from Eastern Asia.

LAUREL
(Laurus nobilis)
The laurel is a small tree, which rarely exceeds 10 m in height, with a dense crown and somewhat irregular. Right trunk, thin, smooth, devoid of nodules, brownish or gray in color. Erect branches, the youngest green colored. Simple and hard leaves which are used in various culinary dishes. In ancient history it was also a symbol of victory.
