AJ and his brother Tommy are going to Miami to visit their grandparents for the summer that they've never seen before.

Miami here we come!

AJ is a loving boy who really loves his brother Tommy. Tommy really loves AJ but not as much as he loves his stuffed bear Luke. That was the gift he received from his mom when he was born. So it means the world to him. 

You can say that again.

When they finally arrive to Miami, they are stunned to see how much more beautiful it is than boring old Pennsylvania.

It's so beautiful compared to home.

They are greeted by their grandparents, meeting them for the first time. 

Grandma, Grandpa!

AJ, Tommy, so nice to finally meet you guys!

They show AJ and Tommy the house that they will be staying in for the summer.

They also introduce them to their dog Connie.

Well, here's your home for the summer boys.

 Thanks, grandma. This place is perfect.

And this is our good girl Connie.

They show them the room they will be staying in. Shortly afterwards, they call them down for dinner because they're probably  starving after the day long flight.

Awesome! 

Kids dinner is ready!

They eat after a long day of getting their rooms ready.

This food looks delicious grandma.

After they eat, they watch a movie to end the night off.

The movie is over and Tommy is fast asleep. AJ is ready for bed so he takes Tommy up to bed.   Then AJ realizes something.

Oh, wait I forgot Luke. My bad Tommy. I'll go get him.

He gets Luke off the couch and comes back up stairs and puts him on the desk in their room and goes to sleep.

ZZZZZZ

AJ woke up early and is about to go outside to look at how beautiful Miami really is, until he notices a certain someone isn't there.

Uh oh, where the heck did Luke go!

AJ is quietly panicking. He doesn't know what to tell Tommy. He looks all over the house and retraces his steps from last night. He can't find Luke. And worst of all...

…Tommy is awake!

Good morning Tommy.

Morning bro. Hey have you seen my bear? I can't find him anywhere. But I assume you have him.

AJ didn't know what to do so he did the one thing he has never done to Tommy before...

I put him in the washing machine. He'll be out later.

You did? Why?

                                …he lied!

I dropped him in the toilet coming upstairs last night. 

Ok... Let me know when you take him out.

Toilet, how stupid am I! Ugh, I'm so bad at lying.

AJ didn't know what was worse, the fact that he lost his brother's bear, lied to him (which he's never done before), or that apparently in 30 minutes they're going to the best fair in Miami.(Wait, that last one didn't sound so bad) 

Kids, were going to the Miami Dade county fair! It's the best fair in Miami so I thought I'd surprise you guys.

Hahahaha. Thanks grandma that sounds great.

30 minutes pass and they're ready to go to the fair but Tommy wants his bear, because he does everything with it.

AJ give me Luke. I don't care if he's dirty.

Tommy, he's in the dryer right now. You will get him after the fair.

At this point Tommy is so confused. He wants his bear and  says he's about to go check on Luke until AJ gets saved by his grandparents. 

Kids, we're going to be late, come on! I want to get there early so you don't have to wait in that many lines.

Thank god!

They arrive and even Tommy without Luke can admit this place is awesome.

Awesome! 

AJ agrees this place is amazing. He still has to deal with the fact that when they get home Luke is missing and he lied to Tommy.

What am I going to do!

But then AJ saw something to beautiful to describe on this very page!

He found a  bottle ring toss game where the prize was the same brand bear as Luke!

I'm saved!

AJ had to think of an excuse to get over to the  bottle ring toss game by himself. But then he realizes Tommy's birthday is in August and he can say that he's going to buy him an early birthday present (genius).

Hey Tommy. I found something I want to get you for your birthday. But you can't come with me because it's a surprise.

Really AJ! You're the best big brother ever!

Grandma, Grandpa, and Tommy go ride the Ferris wheel. AJ heads to the bottle ring toss game to win the bear for Tommy.

Ok, I got this.

AJ asks how much one game cost. The man running the game said 5 dollars for 3 ring shots. AJ brought 50 dollars to Miami and brought all of it to the fair. But he had to win the bear at all cost. So he was all in.

Can I have three rings sir?

Sure kid.

AJ didn't win the first game, but that's okay because he has enough for 9 more. Then he tried again. Again, again, again and you guessed it, he kept trying. He kept trying until he was on his last five dollars.

Kid that's your last 5 dollars. Are you sure you want to go again?
