Dear Mom,
All I really want for my birthday is an
elephant. PLEASE let me have one. They are
my most favorite animal in the whole world. I
promise I will take care of him forever.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE?!
Tommy

Dear Tommy,
No dear, you cannot have an elephant. He
will not fit into this house! Do you even know
what an elephant eats? And how are you going
to give him a bath? He won't even fit into the
shower!
Mom

"But MMMOOOOOOMMMM!!! Why not?! I
told you I wold take care of him!" Whines
Tommy.
"Fine, Tommy. If you can show me that you
will be able to take care of him, you can get an
elephant." His mother replies.
"OH, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK
YOU!" Says Tommy excitedly.

So, Tommy got an elephant.
At first, the elephant was the perfect size! But
that was because he was just a baby.

Yay!

But then, the elephant got so big that he could
hardly fit into Tommy's house! Tommy didn't
know what to do. He loved his elephant.

Uh-oh...

This elephant has got to go! He simply
cannot stay here! Soon, he is going to
get so big, he will break through the
roof of this house! Tommy has got to
get rid of him.
"TOMMYYYYY!" She says, "Get that
elephant out of here RIGHT NOW!"

"Okay, mom. Let me just take him
outside! He can live in the front yard. I'll
build him a pen!" Tommy replies.
Tommy tries to push the elephant out of
the door. When all of a sudden....

The elephant got so big that he crashed
through the top of the house!

Tommy didn't know what to do. He couldn't
even see the elephant's head!
He just stood there, waiting for his mother to
come into the room. There was no way that
she didn't hear the elephant crash through the
roof. Even the people across town probably
heard it!

Ohhh boy........

Sure enough, they had. Now what was Tommy
going to do?! He would have to get rid of his
favorite pet. His life was going to be over!

What was that!?!!
"Tommy... WHAT was THAT?!" His mother
shouted angrily.
Tommy panicked. There was nothing else he
could possibly do. He had to just wait for his
mom to see what his elephant had done.
