Most Cinderella stories start the same way - a poor but
happy young girl who has been forced into manual labor.
Well, this Cinderella was different from most. Her step-
mom was a pretty nice lady who just asked her to do
some chores. But before Cinderella's daddy left for his
year-long assignment in Europe, he ran out of money.
There would be no more hired help. The "evil" step-
mom said, "No problem! We'll all pitch in and do our part
while you're away!"

"Cinderella!" called the
step-mother. "You need
to pick-up your room! It
looks like your clothes
jumped out and are
trying to escape! No
cleaning, no trip to see
the king's new dragon !"
(As you can tell from this
picture, the step--mom was
fairly stressed and used her
cloak to cover up her bad-
hair day.)

"I'm NOT going to clean my room!" cried
Cinderella, stomping her feet and banging her
fists. "I'm going to run away! And I MEAN it
this time!!"

"Don't let the door hit you on the way out",
mumbled the step-mom. But aloud she said,
"Oh Cinderella, we all need to do our part.
Clean your room and we'll all go and have a
lovely afternoon!"

"Talk to the hand!" screamed Cinderella as she
slammed her bedroom door. As Cinderella
wept on her bed, she packed her backpack
with a pair of shorts, her Justin Bieber t-shirt,
a couple of Capri Suns and some girl scout
cookies that she had taken from the kitchen.
With her belongings packed, she left from her
window and started walking down the path to
the castle.

After about twenty minutes of walking, Cinderella was
tired. "Man", she said to herself, "Running away is
harder than I thought. I must be at least ten miles away
by now. Well, it serves her right! I hope that my mean,
old step-mom is cryinger her eyes out missing me!

After walking for about another twenty
minutes and REALLY feeling sorry for herself,
she heard the roar of what sounded like a
totally sweet ride. (You see, Cinderella knew a
rich ride when she heard it). She wheeled
around and sure enough, a red corvette (like
the one in the song) was heading towards her.

"Wowzer!" exclaimed Cinderella, "I wonder
what it's like to drive that cool..."AHHHH!"
Cinderella screamed as the prince of the
kingdom drove through a puddle and soaked
the snitty Cinderella.

The Prince got out of the car, wearing his best
kilt.
"Hey!" said Cinderella, "You ruined my dress!
I'm calling my lawyer!"
"For what?!" cried the Scottish Prince. "It's
just a dress!"
"No it's not!" she sobbed, "It's my favorite red
silk dress and you're going to pay!"
