Titanic was a wonder of its age: The biggest, most luxurious ship that had ever been built. It was famous before it was even sailed. and when it rammed into a giant iceberg on its very first voyage, splitting in half and sinking to the oceans depths, It became a global phenomenon.
Introduction
The Titanic has two sisters The R.M.S Olympic and H.M.H.S Britannic. The Britannic struck a mine in the Aegean sea, killing thirty people and the Olympic was a war ship. The Titanic was built from the 31st of march 1909- 31st of march 1912. (Around a year.) She set sail on the 10th of April and She struck an iceberg on the 14th of April at 2:20 a.m.

The RMS titanic was built in The Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast, Ireland. It took three years to make, and has 16 watertight compartments. If four of them were flooded, She would stay afloat but any over four she would sink. White star line, is the company that made her and her sister the olympic. They said she was "unsinkable".

Setting sail
Its the 10th of April , the day Titanic set sail. There are three class's First class, second class and third class. First class was for the rich people, like John Jacob aster or molly brown ( The unsinkable molly brown.) They had a Beautiful grand staircase made of vanished oak wood, and had cabin with 2 rooms and a deck; a setting area, a sleeping area and a view of the ocean deck!

The second class was about the same as first class but smaller and then third class was two bunk beds and a toilet. The captain was Edward John Smith.
