Aimee Mullins is a wonderful woman who was born without a fibula, a leaf bone in her lower leg, which is why both of her legs were amputated when she was only a year old. Her family was then told that the girl would never walk or live independently.

Of course, the doctors were deceived because not only did Aimee walk, but she also became a successful athlete who even competed in the Paralympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, only to end her professional career in 1998 after deciding to try her hand at modelling careers.

She met her future husband - Rupert Friend, a British actor, in 2013. They first met in a small bistro in New York at a meeting for Rupert's future film project. The meeting started at 6 pm and lasted until half past 5 in the morning. "At one point, a waiter approached us and asked us to leave because the opening hours of the bistro are until half past 4 in the morning, and we stayed for a full hour. We had the impression that we were alone on the entire planet and that we were two curious minds who knew a lot about different topics." Rupert once said when asked about his first encounter with Aimee.

Aimee doesn't even remember if at some point she thought he was cute, but the next day he sent her a few messages and insisted that they should meet again as soon as possible. Again, Rupert arranged dinner which started at 6 pm and this time lasted until half past five in the morning.

They walked around the neighbourhood looking for places that were still open because they didn't want to be separated for a second. "That's the way it has been since May 1, 2013." said Aimee.

A year later Rupert proposed and the couple married on May 1, 2016. Eager for an intimate wedding, Aimee and Rupert said a fateful "yes" exclusively in front of the godparents.

They got married on a beautiful farm and even though it was raining it didn’t diminish the romance.

THE LADY AND THE TRAMP

This unusual love story is about an actress who fell in love with a drug-dealing homeless drunk.

Emmy Abrahamson is a well-educated actress from Sweden who used to travel widely due to her father’s job as a foreign journalist.

Emmy was visiting Amsterdam from Vienna (where she had been living at the time) in 2006, seated on a park bench while waiting for a friend. All of a sudden, dirty man approached, sat down beside her and asked for the time. She thought it was a silly question since they were sitting directly in front of a large clock.

First impressions are important, but in this case Emmy didn't pay much attention to his homelessness and external appearance. Her friend was running late, so she passed the time talking with this strange man with “the most beautiful brown eyes she had ever seen”.

When her friend arrived about 10 minutes later, Emmy got up and started to leave, when he suddenly said: “Saturday, three o’clock, the same bench,’ and he just walked off. That was definitely a love at first sight.

The man’s name is Vic Kocula, an American who had been left homeless after running out of money while he was traveling around Europe.

Emmy couldn’t stop thinking about Vic during the course of the following week so she decided to meet him at the appointed place and time.

They spent the day together and the sparks continued to fly. They went on three more dates before Emmy headed home to Vienna. Before she left, she gave Vic her phone number in case he wanted to stay in touch.

Soon he saved up enough money to buy a train ticket and three weeks later he travelled to Vienna. The rest, as they said, was history.

The couple has been together for the last 14 years now, and they are parents to 9-year-old twins.

Vic straightened himself out, cut down his drinking and went back into education. He had been studying at university for five years while Emmy was fully supporting him. Also, he learned Swedish and Vic is now a mechanical engineer and Emmy recently released a book based on their unusual love story: “How to Fall In Love With A Man Who Lives In A Bush.”

David Bechkam, a famous football player, was overwhelmed with Victoria the moment he laid eyes on her. She was a hit singer for a famous band called The Spice Girls. The first time he saw her music video on the TV he said that she was the right girl for him and that he is going to get her. She was his idea of perfection. Meanwhile, Victoria found out about David and in one interview before they met she stated that he was one word - gorgeous.

PERFECT CHEMISTRY

A few months later Victoria came to see Manchester United and after the match, David walked into the players' lounge where she was and the sparks immediately flew. David asked for her phone number and adorably, he still has the paper she wrote it on. They soon started dating.

In January 1998, they announced their engagement ring to the world. She was performing in America with The Spice Girls when they decided to get engaged. He had the ring specially made for her which was just like she imagined.

David proposed Victoria in front of The Spice Girls while they were all in the room because he knew that friends are very important to her. They even sang their hit song "If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends"!

Now they are happily married and they have four children.

It is known that both Victoria and David always have each other's back. Actually, it is Victoria who put David on his throne because she always advised him and never left his side, even for a while her career was in demise. Now she is a famous designer and a huge television personality known for her bold looks and cheeky personality.

Although they both travel a lot due to their careers and that might affect their relationship, Victoria and David both stated that they care the most about one another.
