To my loving family. To my long lost dignity.
To the girl whom I accused of being a Canadian.

It started off innocent enough,
but then again, what story
doesn't? A simple trip to Epoct
started one of the greatest
epics since The Odyssey.

Everything was normal. My
sister and I got our picture
taken with one of my favorite
characters of all time.

But then, I remembered the
stories of brave souls. Brave
souls who walked the world in
search for indigenous drink.
"Ferb, I know what we're going
to do today."

Under the influence of passion,
with a burning thirst for glory;
armed with only my Jack
Daniels hat, my USA Back To
Back World War Champs
koozie, and the hashtag
"#DrinkAroundTheWorld2013",
we set off to the first country.

We walked briskly to Mexico,
and I started off the party with
a shot of Tequila and a frozen
Fiesta Margarita. The rhyme
was serendipitous and it felt so
right.

Soon after, I found myself in
Norway with a Glacier shot in
my hand. I felt brave. I
always feel brave in my Jack
Daniels hat.

I threw back my second shot
with ease... but this delicious
Glacier drink was just the tip of
the iceberg.

China brought cold winds and
my first beer of the day. We
were making good time, and I
didn't feel fazed at all.

We made it to Germany, four
countries in, and stopped to
grab what I have to assume
are the country's staples:
Oktoberfest and giant pretzels.

I started to feel a little bit
loose. Only my absolute
concentration allowed me to
leave Germany without this
beer glass hat.

We shot over to Italy and I
picked up my third shot. We
were almost halfway there, and
I was halfway intoxicated.

At the midpoint of our
#DrinkAroundTheWorld2013
journey, we reached the
greatest country in the world.
It was time to show off the
koozie, wrapped around a Sam
Adams Seasonal.

The shot from Italy was
starting to kick in, and I was
getting a little rowdy. A story
told by this tweet:

Japan was the toughest
country by far. It was getting
really chilly with the wind
factor so I ordered the hot
sake. In other words, I
ordered a mistake.

Don't be fooled by my finger
gun, the sake took its toll on
my spirits. I half wanted to
quit. I had a choice to make,
and the American spirit in me
soldiered on...
