Güneşin gökyüzünü pırıl pırıl parlattığı bir ilkbahar sabahında Rüzgar erkenden uyanmış, heyecanla okula gideceği saati bekliyordu. Çok geçmeden bir korna sesi duydu ve gelen servisiydi. Hemen servisine bindi ve okulun yolunu tuttu.(Ayça DEMİR-Eskişehir Cemalettin Gökay Kındergarten)

On a spring morning, when the sun brightened the sky, the wind woke up early and was excitedly waiting for the time he would go to school. Before long he heard a horn, and it was the service coming in. He immediately got on his bus and went to the school.

Okula geldiğinde arkadaşı Derin'le karşılaştılar. Derin Rüzgar'ın yüzündeki gülümsemeden ne kadar heyecanlı olduğunu gördü ve meraklandı.(Apostolia BEKA)

When he came to school, they met his friend Derin. He saw how excited Deep Wind was from the smile on his face, and he wondered.

Derin arkadaşı Rüzgar'a yönelerek,

-Arkadaşım bu heyecanının sebebi nedir? diye sordu.

Rüzgar:

-Dün bilgisayarda çok güzel bir oyun keşfettim.

Derin:

-Ooo inanılmaz. Çok merak ediyorum nasıl bir oyun?

Turning to his deep friend the wind,

- My friend, what is the reason for this excitement? he asked.

Wind:

-I discovered a very nice game on the computer yesterday.

Deep:

-Ooo amazing. I'm very curious what kind of game?

Rüzgar: 

-Strateji geliştirerek engelleri aşmaya çalıştığımız bir oyun. Hatta biliyor musun oyunu oynarken aynı zamanda oyunu oynayan kişilerle sohbet edebiliyorsun. hatta içlerinden biri bu oyunu sabahlara kadar oynadıklarını ve hiç bırakmak istemediklerini söyledi.

Derin:

-Bende bu oyunu oynamak istiyorum akşam eve gitmeye sabırsızlanıyorum. (Stanislawa STĘPIEŃ)

Rüzgar:

-A game where we try to overcome obstacles by developing a strategy. You can even chat with the people playing the game while playing the game. one of them even said that they played this game until the morning and never wanted to quit.

Derin:

-I want to play this game, I can't wait to go home tonight.

O gün bahçede nöbetçi olan öğretmenleri konuşmalarına şahit olmuştur. Bu iki arkadaşın konuşmalarını öğrenme ortamına dahil eden öğretmenleri o gün derste medya okuryazarlığı konusunu işlemiştir. (Salih ÇALIK-Kestel Mehmet Akif Ersoy Primary School/Bursa) 

He witnessed the speeches of the teachers who were on duty in the garden that day. The teachers, who included the speeches of these two friends in the learning environment, covered the subject of media literacy in the lesson that day. 

Öğretmenleri medyanın iyi anlaşılırsa etkili şekilde kullanılabileceğine dikkat çekerek medya kullanımında eleştirel bir bakış açısı kazanmalarını bunun için kendilerini geliştirici kitaplar okumalarını söyleyerek bir kaç kitap önerisinde bulunmuştur. (Kıymet YALÇIN)

The teachers pointed out that if the media is understood well, it can be used effectively, and suggested a few books by asking them to gain a critical perspective in the use of media and to read self-improvement books.

Öğretmenleri önermiş oldukları kitapları okumaları için bir hafta süre vermiş ve bir hafta sonra bu kitapların konusuyla ilgili olarak sınıfta münazara yapacaklarını söylemiştir. (Fazilet İclal KETBOĞA Özlüce Kındergarten Nilüfer  )

The teachers gave them a week to read the books they had suggested and said that they would debate in the classroom one week later on the subject of these books. (Fazilet İclal KETBOĞA) 

Hemen Rüzgar ve Derin'in aileleri ile iletişime geçen öğretmenleri aileleri medyanın kullanımı konusunda bilgilendirmiş ve çocuklarını medyayı verimli kullanmaya yönlendirmeleri konusunda önerilerde bulunmuştur.  (Ayşegül ÖZBAKIR Şehit Gökhan Eriç Prımary School Antalya Turkey)

The teachers, who immediately contacted the families of Rüzgar and Derin, informed the families about the use of the media and made suggestions to direct their children to use the media efficiently.

Although Derin and Rüzgar's families felt a little anxious, talking with their teachers helped them resolve.(Antigoni CHAVDATOURİ)

Derin ve Rüzgarın aileleri biraz kaygı duysa da öğretmenleri ile konuşmak onları çözüme ulaştırmıştır.

Bir hafta sonra çocuklar münazara için yerlerini almış ve okuduğu kitaptan çok değerli bilgiler öğrendiğini söyleyen Rüzgar söze başlamıştır. Öğretmenine teşekkür ederek çok büyük bir yanlıştan döndüğünü söylemiştir. (Gülay TONGA-Kütahya Kütso Anaokulu)

A week later, the children took their places for debate and Rüzgar said that he learned very valuable information from the book he read. He thanked his teacher and said that he returned from a very big mistake.

Stating that he aims to be a media message creator and producer in the use of media, Rüzgar; he warned his friends by asking his friends not to fall into his own mistake.

Derin'de söz alarak yaptığı hatayı farkettiğini kitapları okurken öğretmenlerinin 'GÜVENLİ İNTERNET GÜNÜ'nde' onlara anlatmış olduğu önemli bilgileri tekrar hatırladığını söylemiştir. He said that he noticed the mistake he made by speaking in Derin and while reading the books, he recalled the important information that his teachers had told them on 'SAFE INTERNET DAY'. He created a smile on the faces of his friends and teacher by saying that we should connect to life, not the internet.

The teachers were happy that their students realized the mistake they made, and they were happy to think that they will not forget it for life because they have reached this information they have learned. (Stefan LUCICA)

Öğretmenleri öğrencilerinin yaptıkları yanlışı fark etmelerine sevinmiş ve öğrendikleri bu bilgiye kendileri ulaşmış oldukları için hayat boyu unutmayacaklarını düşünerek mutlu olmuştur.

Derin and Rüzgar warned other friends in the school not to make their own mistakes and did not repeat their mistakes.
