I woke up to an ordinary day again.It was another ordinary day of my boring life.I was spending my life as a lonely young man.I had to find things to bring joy to my life.One day when I was watching news I heard about teens activities. I decided to participate in these activities.

In the news, there was a project that young people of all ages could participate in. "Essence of the word is the value of youth " project was to bring together all young people who wanted to participate and develop, communicate, socialize and develop in areas such as music, painting and sports.

I attended those events on the weekend,apparently there were many activities to reduce my loneliness and I was not aware of them.There were so many activites in my country and I just realized that.                                                                                                                             Aslı Arslan

I never thought  that I was interested in music and painting.I was glad that I had talents in these activities.

I didn't want to go home but todays activities were all over.When I got home I went to my room and lay down on the bed then thought of all the good things I did today.I had not participated in such events before but I was happy to attend.A few minutes later my mother called me for dinner.While eating ,I told my parents the time I spent there,they were happy for me.My mother enrolled me for a course a few days later when she would realize that I was interested in music and painting. I went to the course until the end of the year.At the end of the year a nationwide talent competition was to be held.I got my name written in this contest.

And finally, the day of the competition came, I was very excited, I got up early, I washed my hands and face. My mother  prepared the breakfast, we had our breakfast immediately and we went to the competition. When we came to the contest, when I saw the other contestants, I thought that I would not have a chance. My father turned to me and said you can succeed.

I was waiting for my name to be announced.I looked at my competitors. Once again, I thought that I didn't have a  chance .  Then, I thought of my father' s motivational speeches . I repeated the lycris of the song silently. I  got excited when I heard my name announced  and I went on the stage with cowardly steps. There were thousands of people in front of me . Then surprisingly I remembered the song.  I sang the song well. After that, the audience sang the song with me. I was so happy.

After the contest, I went to home and I thought about my routines. I usually go to school. Then I  watch Tv , listen to music and chat with my family.  I work hard to achieve . This enthusiasm and excitement changed my life.  I have done and lived things that I can call a turning point in my life.  And it was thanks to my belief in myself, my family's faith in me, my trust and determination.  As long as it is desired, there is nothing that cannot be done in this life.
