The organ of the sight sense is me, the eyes!
My sense is sight. The eyes have all sorts of cool features that absorb light to create the images in your brain to read this book.

To see this colorful rainbow for example, light must pass through my cornea, enter through my pupils and reflected though a lens, just like your own human camera!

Sight gives us most of the information we take in from the world as it's complexity gives us many clues about our relation to the world around us.

All of these color you see are interpreted by your cones, a photoreceptor that manages light and sends this information to the brain.
Homeostasis is maintained as the brain unwraps these images to make sense and avoid dangers in the world. If the biker couldn't see he wouldn't know how fast he was moving or where to turn with the road.
The most common disorder that the eyes may have would be a refractive error that could cause near and far sightedness.
Treatment for this could include glasses, contact lenses, or surgery.

The ears are what let us h(ear).
Sound waves and vibrations travel through space from the ocean by crashing waves as the ear drums pick them up and auditory nerves send sensory information back to the brain.

Hearing gives me sensory info about things behind me that my eyes can't.
Auditory inputs can give clues to distance, density, and direction.
When Jake is riding the waves of the ocean, he can prepare to ride a wave as he hears the water collectively building up behind him.
The most common type of problems with hearing is sensorineural hearing loss which happens when inner ear nerves and pathways are damaged.

If you aren't able to hear me back there, consult your doctor about getting hearing aid equipment.

Hearing allows Jim to know if the volcano is erupting or other changes in the environment.

If Jim couldn't use his ears, he'd possibly be eaten by Tony the tiger or burned up from the hot lava as it crept up behind him.
