Once upon a hot summer's day, there
where a heard of big grey Rhinos.
They loved hanging out at the big lake
they spent most of their time there.
All of the Rhinos loved doing the same
things like eating grass and swimming
in the lake.

One day a little baby Rhino was born
and he was called Ryan.
Ryan the Rhino was all white unlike all
the other Rhinos who were grey.
When Ryan would go to the lake with
his mum he was always teased.

"Ryan, you look a little pale" said one
Rhino while he laughed.
"Ha, look at him he's white," another
Rhino would say.

"Mum, why are the other Rhinos so mean
to me?" asked Ryan.
"It's only because you're different, you will
make friends". "Try not to worry," replied
his mum.

So Ryan decided to look for some nice
animals to become friends with.
"Hi, I'm Ryan," said Ryan as he
approached a giraffe and an elephant.
"What type of animal are you?" said
the tall giraffe.
"I'm a Rhino," said Ryan sadly because
they couldn't tell that he was a rhino
just because he was a different colour.

As Ryan walked off he saw a big wet
mud puddle and decided to go play in
it. Ryan jumped in and thought it was
fun so he decided to stay for a while.
Once Ryan finished playing he got out
and found that the mud was good for
his skin.My mum said never to give up
on anything Ryan thought so he
decided to try to find some one to talk
to again.

After walking for a while he found a
group of young Rhinos playing near
the lake so he decided to talk to them.
"Hi, I'm Ryan can i hang with you
guys?" asked Ryan.
"sure, we are playing tag" said one of
the bigger Rhinos named Max.
Ryan was so happy that he wanted to
run and tell his mum but decided not
to.
