Legislatia drepturilor copilului este compusa din tratate si convenitii internationale(Conventia ONU a drepturilor copilului  1989) si de legi la nivel national (Legea nr 272/2004).

Copiii reprezinta viitorul unei tari!

si obligatii -INDATORIRI:

- sa inteleaga si sa respecte regulile de convietuire sociala;

-sa-i asculte si sa-i respecte pe parinti;

-sa invete, sa capete cunostinte, deprinderi;

-sa-i asculte pe ceilalti si sa-i respecte;

-sa nu discrimineze alti copii etc.

Copiii au dreptul inca de la momentul nasterii la nume, identitate, cetatenie, intocmindu-se astfel certificatul de nastere cu toate inscriptiunile necesare.

Niciun copil nu poate fi discriminat indiferent de culoare, gen, limba, religie, opinie, de situatia materiala, de incapacitate fizica etc.
