Today is my first day of first grade. Ma puts my hair up in a stylish ponytail.

"your bus is here" says Ma

"I'm nervous" I say

"There's nothing to be nervous about" Says Ma

"There won't be any toys"

"There will be plenty of toys and even more" Says Ma

"No one will help me play with of of those toys"

"Everyone will  help you play with those toys"

Ma helps me put on my backpack

I give Ma a hug and get on my School bus I wave through the window she waves too.

I enter my  classroom it's bigger than last years

My teacher teaches us how to hang our backpack up on the backpack hook it's really fun and easy.

We sat on the ground in a circle that's called sharing time it's where we share how our day went.

Today we shared how our summer went I was so nervous when it was my turn.

"How was your summer Mya"? asks my teacher Mrs.Granzo

"My summer was good" I say that wasn't so hard a thought

Next, we had lunch I love lunch  because today we had pizza and pizza is my favorite food. After lunch we went into the classroom again we played with toys for a little. I played with the toy bricks they are my favorite. Suddenly a girl came up to me she said her name is Lily and asked if she could play with me I said "yes".  After play time we had nap time my teacher Mrs. Grazno turned off all of the lights I couldn't fall asleep because I wanted to play with Lily again. After nap time we had story time Mrs.Grazno read us a book it was called "three little piggys" it was a good story. Next out teacher let us go outside to recess,recess was fun I swung o the swings after recess we went ack into the classroom to grab our backpacks and go home.

When I got on the bus Lily sat next to me and asked "if we can be friends" I said "yes" because  friends are the best. First was Lily's house I waved goodbye she got off the best and then we got to my house I ran up to Ma "How was school?" "It was awesome!" I said and I told Ma all about today I can't wait for school again tommorow.
