A long time ago, there was a great scientist named Lucy, who was always busy studying inventions every day. She worked so hard that she sometimes didn’t sleep or eat. She didn‘t have time to take care of herself and clean up the house. In order to improve her quality of life, she invented a  robot maid named  Fiona, Fiona became her servant.

  Fiona could not only buy vegetables, wash and cook, but also clean the house, tidy the room, etc., so that Lucy could concentrate on work and research. Not only did Lucy and Fiona got along well, Lucy also relied on her very much. Since Fiona could be stubborn somehow and rigid especially when it was about her studies and work, Fiona asked for her permission every time. 

  This made Lucy felt very comfortable. Whenever Fiona wanted to clean Lucy's desk, it would ask for her permission. However, Fiona was not a real person. It didn't know how to read and it had no emotions.

  One day, when Lucy came home from work, she found the road faintly shaking. Lucy thought she had hallucinations because she got too tired from work, so she was not aware of what happened. It didn't take long for her to notice that the ground was not only shaking, but also cracking. Suddenly, someone  shouted,"Run! fast! Earthquake!" Before Lucy could react, everyone hurried to the empty flat ground.

   When Lucy was finally aware of what was going on, the streets had become horrible, and cracks appeared on the ground instantly; many high-rise buildings began to collapse, and the ground was covered with stones and broken glass. The only thing Lucy thought about at that moment was Fiona's safety.

I must go back quickly！

   For Lucy, although Fiona is a robot which had no emotions and feelings, it was a family member. Lucy was so worried about Fiona, so she ran home as fast as she could, and she did not care if she was injured or not.
