Dedicated, first of all, to my mother, without whom I would never have really found my passion: writing.
Secondly, this book I dedicate to my English teacher, who gave us a project that is definitely my favorite.

Today I want to tell you a miracle. And... it's not a common wonder, at least from my point of view. It's a winter wonder.
During that time, in the kingdom of EastFire, because that's where all the action was taking place, the Queen .. and the Prince Consort Coriander reigned. You may be wondering why I mentioned them here. Well, they have something to do with the story, but they'll show up later.

EastFire, at that time
In the meantime, I want you to meet Freira, a girl of only 12 years old, with gorgeous brown hair and a sharp mind. We can say that he likes to draw - especially clothes - and dreams of becoming the Queen's fashion designer. It's a playful nature, caramel-eyed full of childhood sweetness. We can also say that she is an ambitious girl, humorous, brave and stubborn
They had a poor but happy life. Unfortunately, however, since good things don't last long, over her family, which is made up of her and her mother, a little problem arises.

Freira with her mother
The girl's mother, who worked at a factory, was very ill. The doctors couldn't do anything to him. So, shortly after, she died, the little girl remaining nobody's.
And... since there was no future for her in that village, she decided to leave there, burying the one who gave her life with her father.
After packing up for his trip, he remembered that he'd forgotten to take something. Her mother's bracelet. Then he left, the weather was warm enough for that hour.

Freira leaving his home village
Only in the dress she received for her birthday and barefoot, the girl sets off, step by step, to Pysco, the capital of EastFire, to find a job somewhere.
It passes the Happiness mountains that divide the island in two (her village was in the south of the island, territory held by the kingdom of fire), then through the highest area of the Gelato Mountains.

Gelato Mountains
Passing the various obstacles, the little girl caught a rather strong snowstorm. She quickly found enough shelter to shelter her from the fury of the storm, but not from the cold. He didn't know that the mountains were so cold, considering that in the winter in the rest of the country they even reached 25-30°C, possibly 35, and in the summer almost 50°C.
She found, hardly, a few branches in that cave (she thought there had probably been someone else there) and which, to her great surprise and luck, were dry, but there were also some wet. She tried to light a fire, eventually managing without a match or any other source that could set fire to him.
The fire was slowly cracking, in winter the roar of anger and helplessness, all these noises had put Freira to sleep.
