"This is a book about the story of Little McCheery. He is a student.One day, he finds a brochure about a summer camp.He decides to join the camp, because there are many activities and food he likes.Also,It is a great chance to meet new friends .He asks his parents for permission and his parents gives permission him to join the camp.Little McCheery gets ready and his mom and dad sees him off for the camp.Let's see what adventures await him..."

On the first day of the summer camp, all children get up at 6.30 a.m. But McCheery gets up earlier to watch the sunrise. He is very excited. They have breakfast at 7 o'clock. McCheery makes three new friends on his first day at camp. These are Aslan, Mert and Remzi. McCheery likes fishing in the lake with his friends and challenging who will catch much more fish. Remzi wins the challenge on the first day. They have lunch at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. They eat hamburger and drink ayran at lunch. Hamburger is  Mcheery's favorite food.

Then, they go hiking in the forest. McCheery is very excited on this trip, he is looking around carefully. He doesn’t like the flies to bite him. When they are in the forest, they see a fox. McCheery is terrified. After 3 hours, they come back to the camp. McCheery loves reading books all together on the first day. Because, McCheery always reads books regularly. They have dinner at 6 o'clock. They eat fish and salad at dinner. McCheery don’t like eating fish.

After dinner, they watch an animation movie outdoors. McCheery loves nature and watching the stars, he watches the stars after the movie ends. All the students go to bed at 10 o'clock. On the first day, McCheery is so tired and immediately goes to sleep. (Betül- Seçkin Teacher)

McCheery wakes up too early and plans his day. He loves green and being in the nature and that makes him wake up in the early morning. Today he plans to join some gym exercises on grass.After the gym he drinks lots of water because he is thirsty.He calls his parents and tells how great the camp is.Now it is time for lunch he is starving. After lunch he goes for orientiring.Orientiring is so much fun! You must find your way by looking maps in nature. It is so tiring but he enjoyed a lot. It was a long day he needs to have a rest after the dinner now.(Büşra-Seher Teacher)

On the third day of the camp, McCheery gets up very early because he heards a rooster’s voice. McCheery lives in the city center and he never hears rooster’s voice before. He gets excited. He wonders and wants to see the rooster. He wakes his friends up and they follow the rooster. The rooster lives in a farm near the camp area. The farm is big and full of different animals. There are chickens, cows, horses, sheep, a cat and a dog. Then, they hear a noise. Someone says “Help”. They run and see a farmer and his tractor in the mud. 

With the help of McCheery and his friends, they move the tractor. The farmer thanks to them and gives a lot of eggs and fresh fruit from the garden. McCheery is very happy because he loves eggs and fruit. They return to the camp and their friends just wake up. They get hungry and have breakfast with eggs. They wander around in the afternoon and they collect sticks for the campfire. In the evening, McCheery goes to bed early because it is a tiring but perfect day for him. ( Rabianur- Gülçin Teacher

     McCheery gets up early on the fourth day.He is excited. At 7 a.m he has breakfast with his friends.The scoutmaster gathers the children together. He tells children to clean the environment. Firstly, the children pick the rubbish in the camp area. Then, they have a rest and they drink tea together. 

In the afternoon, McCheery goes to lake  with his friends. They look at the ducks swimming in the lake. The nature is beautiful. They catch fish.They have barbecue by the lake. His friends eat fish but McCheery doesn't like fish. So he eats meat. They go back to the camping area. After they have a rest, they light a camp fire and sit around it.McCheery sings songs together with his friends. They go to bed at 10` oclock.

On the fifth day of the camp,  McCheery gets up early. He has cheese, olives, honey, bread and milk for the breakfast. After breakfast he and his friends go swimming. They are very excited because they try to do scuba-diving. They see different kinds of fish. They go back to camp area. They are very hungry  have pizza and chips for lunch.

In the afternoon, they play some games like hide and seek, tag and blind man's buff. They have great time and they feel happy.

After they have a rest, they prepare dinner.  They have lentil soup, mashed potatoes and chicken for dinner. Yummy!  After dinner they make a campfire with the scoutmaster. They play a guess game, tell some stories  and sing songs. McCheery has a great time and he is very happy to join this camp.He feels sleepy after a tiring day and he goes to bed at 10 o'clock. (Gülce- Gizem Teacher)    

McCheery gets up very early on the sixth day.  

They do some sports before the breakfast and try to find some food to eat. They begin to walk through the forest.  They see huge blue berries.They look delicious. They pick up some berries and eat them. After they eat them they feel tired and sleep because   they are magical .McCheery and his friends go 100 years back. It is a fantastic time travel to past. They are in their town in the past. McCherry goes his home. It is different and old. He meets a young woman and a child in the garden. The young woman asks” Who are you? Where are you from? What is your name?”. They chat each other.

The little child is Mc Cherry’s grand-grandfather. The young women is his grand -grandmother. She prepares a delicious breakfast for hem.They have an omelet pancakes,cheese,honey,olives and orange juice .It looks yummy .McCherry and his friend have a great time with them. They talk about future. 

       Next day he and his friends turn back to this  time.It is actually not a time travel to past. It is only a dream. McCheery gets up and smiles he feels very hungry.He has a breakfast with his friends and  he tells his dream to friends.They all have fun and play games together.They have an interesting day.

The next day McCheery and his friends gets up very early with the sound of the water.They are so sad because it is the last day of their camp adventure.They have grilled sausage,fried egg, tomato and cucember for  breakfast.As soon as they have  breakfast, they run to the sea.There are so many fun things to do such as canoes, a trampoline and a slide. They try all of them and have great fun. They want to spend their last day only on the beach.For lunch they have a snack.

After the lunch, they start sandcastle competition.Every child tries to build a sand sculpture with buckets and shovels.At last everybody in the camp vote the best sculpture. McCheery comes the first in this competition and wins a medal.He is so happy that he wants to share this with his parents  immediately.

In the evening they have their last camping fire and sit around it.While they are eating their grilled marshmallows, they talk about their thoughts on this camp adventure.They don't want to leave here.All of the children have great fun ,make new friends and have great memories to tell their friends and families.But it is time to go home now.They say goodbye to each other and hug themselves.All of them promise to come to this camp next summer.
