It was the morning of New Year's Eve. Danny had a few special traditions that he had been doing every New Year's Eve since he could sit up and roll over, and he had to get started.

Prank call a few people who have done some stuff to me

Alright. I don't have much time, so this is all I can do for revenge today. 

Call off the polices' donut orders for all of next year to get back at them for everything they've done to me. 

Ms. Math, Danny's neighbor, always called the police to complain about how much noise Danny was making. Danny was going to do the same thing to her.

Hewwo? Powice? I'm twying to have my nap, but Ms. Maf fwom next door is being woud. Could you go in and yell at her? Evewyone on the bwock is being disturbed!

Somehow, Danny's plan worked. It might have been the baby voice he used.

I'm sorry, mam, but a sweet little boy called in to complain about how much noise you're making, so we'll have to arrest you.

Next, Danny prank called a few people. 

Hello? Markston Martins? This is the lottery. You won a million dollars!

No way! Really? Yes! I'm moving to Hawaii! Already packed my bags!

It was lunchtime. Danny had a quick sandwhich, then went over to the police station to get revenge on them before it was time to go out to eat. He snuck into the police chief's office, and cancelled the donut order.

Hello? Donut company? Yeah, this is Police Chief Don. Our New Year's resolution this year is to not be fat anymore, so we're going to have to cancel all donut orderes for 2021. And if we call and try to reorder donuts, hang up and don't give us a thing. You will? Thank you!

Danny was able to enjoy himself when they went out for dinner, because his day of work was over. 

Daniel J. Burger, I told you to wear shoes! And put on pants!

Danny ordered a burger, and started to take a bite. That's when he noticed that the police were after him.
