One morning Grace woke up, she got dressed, brushed her teeth, and ate breakfast, and got ready for the first day of school. Everything was going great! Until....... Suzie, Grace's little sister woke up and started running around the kitchen like crazy! Suzie Kept yelling. NO SHCOOL, NO SCHOOL!  It seemed like Suzie really didn't want to go to school! Grace ignored her, because she knew something really bad is going to happen today,  and Gracie was not excited for today.

When It was time to go to school Gracie grabbed her bag and went out the door. It was hard for Gracie's parents to push Suzie out the door! Gracie went to her mom's car so her mom could drive her. 

When her mom was driving her hands were starting to sweat, and her heart was pounding a little faster then it would usally! The car ride felt short. 

When Gracie's mom parked the car in the school's drive way, Gracie took a big breath and opened the car door and stepped out of it. She looked around thinking, maybe this won't be so bad after all! What could Possibly happen at a normal middle school like this? Then she said goodbye to her mom and started walking to the door. Before she entered she took another big breath and pushed one of the big doors open hoping no one looks at her.

Gracie looked around the inside of the school, there were a lot of people! most of them had friends and were talking to each other. 

Then Gracie stared to look for locker 23. She kept walking down the hall and looking at the lockers then she spotted locker 23.

Then A girl came up to Gracie and said..... 

Hi, my name is Emma! I was wondering if you knew where ELA class is.

Then  Gracie said.....

Oh, I am also new so I don't really know sorry

Gracie and Emma were starting to become friends!

That is ok! It's not you fault!
