Adana is a province in Turkey, my hometown and (I think) the best city in Turkey.
Without any hesitation when someone say Adana, everybody first thinks about kebab. It's delicious food, made from "lavaş", mince meat and spice. Let's get to the main point.
Adana has the oldest known bridge. Although there are different opinions,

This bridge about 1700-3500 years old and this mean older than Ottoman Empire.

Konya is one of Turkey's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Konya was known as Iconium in Roman times. During 12th to the 13th centuries it was capital of the Seljuk Turks.
Konya is famous with Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi which was founded a Sufi order known in the West as the Whirling Dervishes. The most famous building about Mevlana is the green-tiled mausoleum of Mevlana. Attached to the mausoleum, the former dervish seminary now serves as a museum housing manucripts of Mevlana's works and various artefacts related to the mysticism of the sect.
Another beautiful monument in Konya is the Alaeddin Mosque which was built on the site of Konya's old citadel dating from 1221 during the reign of the great Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat.
