Once there was a young boy named Charlie. Every day through all types of weather he would go to visit the small stream near his house. He walked along the bank, looked at birds, skipped stones and visited a small mouse. But never once did a find a fish or even a grouse.
One day as he walked along the shore. There was a team of people taking samples of the water who he had never seen before. They were scraping rocks and sifting through the mud. As Charlie moved in closer, they explained they were checking for freshwater bugs after the flood. They said, “You see, the best way to look after the steam is to check for debris.” “Were making shell creek fit for the salmon and by doing so the land will be protected for the other animals as well” Said Resse Cannon.
