Many years ago, when there were still Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses. There was a kingdom that was ruled by a brave but shallow king and a kind and generous queen. The people in the kingdom were all happy and lived in harmony. Their king was always proud of his very own kingdom.

One day, the queen gave birth to two babies. When the king heard about it, he was surprised. But as soon as he went to visit the queen, he found out that the babies were very different. One of them was cute and chubby, the other one was ugly. The king did not want the ugly baby. He decided to make the ugly princess become a servant.

Time went on, everyone got older and older. The princesses grew up and became more beautiful. But the king and queen still didn't have an idea of a name for the girls. They both thought that the villagers could have a chance to give them a name. So, they held a competition to decide the princesses' names.

We will sell her to you! You can give her a name if you want.

But instead of giving a name to the ugly princess, the king sold her to an old but kind maid in his palace with out the queen's permission. The maid was delighted but the queen was not. She loved the ugly princess so much, even more than the beautiful princess!

After the king sold the ugly princess, the princess lived in a warmer and more loving family. The maid's husband worked in the circus so he always played with the princess, the tiger, which still didn't have a name, and the old maid. They named the princess Violet and they put on plays with one new story each day and lived happily.

Many years passed, Violet was no longer ugly like she used to be. She was more beautiful than Clara and even the king noticed! He always heard the queen begging him to bring Violet back and now the king himself wanted her back! The poor family wouldn't give Violet up for the money they could get. So, the king ordered the soldiers to grab Violet straight away and her family were heart-broken. Violet became a princess again but she was mostly upset because she knew that she would never meet her lovely old family again. However, she didn't know that she was facing another problem, Clara's parents only cared about Violet now. Clara was lonely and felt jealous of Violet.

After Violet returned to the palace, the king and queen only seemed to care about Violet but not Clara anymore. Clara became jealous and she had a word with Violet. Violet did not want to hurt her so she gave Clara her advice. Clara wanted to get her parent's love back. So she agreed to let Violet help her.

And because of Clara, Violet's tiger had her own name,Tiger Lily, at last.

The next day, Clara had her second class. Violet taught her to share things and not to waste what she didn't need. Clara was angry and sad at first when she gave her new ant toy to a little poor boy with his grandma. The boy said 'thank you' and Clara felt happy. She did not know why and then she gave out her new toys one by one. She felt happier and happier. From then on, she loved to share her things with everyone. Clara learnt about sharing's happiness and she became a more lovely princess. She was glad. But Violet still told her that wasn't enough. Clara needed to learn more about being a real and royal princess. Clara was tired.
