Great eight islands

Once upon a time, there was anything but silence. What we know today as the universe, was just chaos and darkness. 

But suddenly, something started to make noise. This noise got higher and higher, louder than helicopter sounds, making tiny elements to start to move like they would on an earthquake 

Some of those small elements started to shine and they called those "light". Since the light wasn't heavy because it was very very small, it started to float and go higher and higher, to the top of the sky. 

Light was followed by other elements that were slightly heavier than the light, leaving the light on the top of the universe and some things such as clouds underneath it because they were so heavy that even though they tried to go up they couldn't.  

Everything that was heavier than that, stayed on an esferic shape planet called Earth. Earth was considered darkness and the sky the light. This light was named heaven, with the japanese name of YO, meanwhile the Earth had the japanese name of IN. They were both opposite, but they couldn't exist without each other.  IN is the feminine and YO is the masculine. Two gods were eventually created and raised up. The man was named Izanagi, and woman was named Izanami.

They both looked down and they were just able to see darkness.  They heard the sound of an ocean and they asked themselves if there wasn’t any land beneath them. Izanagi put a spear in the water to see if there was anything underneath.

After a long time of trying to find land, Izanagi surrendered. But suddenly a big island came when Izanami pulled the spear up and they called the island Onogoro-jima. Both Izanami and Izanagi went to the island to live there. Since they were both so in love, they wanted to get married. Izanagi and Izanami both came up with an idea. 

They both decided to walk around the world axle and they would get married when they found each other again. Izanami was the first one to speak when they found each other, but Izanagi wanted to be the first one to speak, so they walked around the world axle again. Finally, Izanagi was the first one to speak but Izanami claimed that she felt an enormous emptiness inside her.
