Wisconsin has many different types of animals.Can you think of any?

Many black bears call Wisconsin home. Although they may seem scary they are not. They actually eat
berries and are scared of humans.

Raccoons live in Wisconsin as well.They are often called bandits
because of the black looking mask
around their eyes.

Northern Wisconsin is home to these prickly
animals. The porcupine.

This little guy is a whitetail deer. They are the favorite animal
of many people living in Wisconsin.

There use to not be many wolves like the ones on this page. Now there are alot
of wolves in northern Wisconsin.

Wisconsin is home to a tonof waterfowl. These birds
are called mallard ducks.
These ducks like many fly
south for the winter.

These birds are called turkeys. Can youthink of a holiday that you see
turkeys at? If you said Thanksgiving
than you are right.
