Poseidon the God of the sea had a child with a 

mortal woman named Sally,

 the child's name was Percy Jackson. Since Poseidon 

and the mortal 

woman where both different kinds of people they 

created what is known 

as a Demi-God.This means that Percy is a half 

godling and human,all in 

one! 

One day Percy was at the museum with his boarding school class and his 

best friend Grover. They wandered off into a different part of the 

museum 

and one of the exhibits came to life! It looked like   gigantic  

gargoyle.....with a purse.

 His teacher Chiron gave him a pen to fight it off. "This is a pen! A 

pen!' Percy yelled at him.

"Just uncap it!' Chiron responded. When Percy did, the pen 

turned into a sword and he maneged to fight off the Fury.

After that weird incident at the museum Percy was taken to a camp 

with 

Grover ,in a car with his mom,Sally.Then the road started to quake and 

shake beneath them,making the car become out of control.

Since it is dark outside and that made it hard to see,Percy's mom stoped 

the car by the road because she thinks there's an earthquake.

She then gets out of the car because she sees something gigantic 

running 

up the road.

A bull/humanoid looking 

                creature,called a minotaur starts to shake the  

                  car.Percy tries to defeat it with his sword,and 

                once he does a Fury comes! It takes Percy's 

               mother to Hades, the underworld. Once Percy  

            gets to the camp with Grover he goes to the

          camp director to ask to take a quest to go rescue

           his mom.Percy then learns that Zeus's Master bolt is missing and     

        suspects that Hades has something to do with it,so Percy will be 

        looking for that as well along his quest.

So Percy has to go to the Orcle in the "Big house" attic 

to receave his prophecy. Orcle tells him that he only has seven days to 

complete the quest and rescue his mom. 

All of a sudden, Percy meets another half god(dess),Annabeth,she is 

the 

daughter of Athena. Percy,Grover,and Annabeth head out on the quest 

for Percy's mom and the Master Bolt.

The three of them take a bus first,to go to California,because Orcle

 said that the entrance to Hades is in California.But because Percy

 and Annabeth are both half gods,they will be hunted by monsters

 that want to eat them. Eventually another Fury chases them and 

they have to get onto a train which takes them to St.Louis.While 

they're at the famous arc,in St. Louis a pupppy turns into a 

monster and Percy

 jumps hundreds of feet down the top of the arc into a river.

Since the incident with riding the train did not work out,

 they decided to take a taxi from St.Louis all the way to

 Las Vegas. But once they got there ,it was extremely 

hot

 and they had to get to one of the hotels for air

 conditioning.

When they get into the hotel a woman who works there

 has a tray of lotus flowers, and each of them take a

 sample, and eat it. It caused the three of them to think

 that time had slowed down and think that an hour has

 passed,when in reality a whole three days has gone by.

Eventually,Percy figures out that it's the lotus flowers 

they are eating that is causing them to do think

that. So they steal a car and somehow manege to get to

 Los Angeles,California.
