"What comes to mind when you say street animals?" We asked the students in our mixed country team using my Slido web 2 tool. We sent the activity code and link to the students. The students wrote down the words that came to mind. A word cloud about street animals emerged with the participation of 51 students.

The mixed country team for the common poem consists of four different teachers and their students.First of all,teachers in this group made the decision for each school to write one quatrain.Every teacher came together with their students to write their own quatrain.

After we finished writing our quatrain,we set a date to write our common one.This part was the last part.Teachers and their team met via zoom and wrote the last quatrain all together.

       We Are Heroes

 In Street Animals Project  

  We are heroes of animals.  

  We like cats and dogs.  

  We protect them.

  What a world this is!  

  They leave animals on the streets.  

  In this rainy day they are cold.  

  Let's take them home, love and hold.

I don't know what you say  

  But I need hug, and to be safe!  

  Our home is the street  

  An old barrel, a hollow ,hunger and cold are pain!  

 Take me home, even if it's old  

 Give me some food and I'Il admire you like a king, in any mood!!

It is time to do something for us  

  Give us some food and hug us  

  We need a home as we are cold  

  We need love and pity.Please own us!

Let’s protect street animals, as we protect kids.  

  Let’s give them love and care  

  Let’s feed and adopt them.  

  A better world needs humans and animals.  

***The last part of the poem is the common product of  all the students who joined our Zoom meeting.

We completed our joint product by combining all the letters.
