This story is part of the Project "The Multilingual Book", an eTwinning project coordinated by Yusuf Ozcan (Turkiye) and Helena Lourenço (Portugal) in the year 2020/2021.

Era uma vez, um menino chamado José que desde pequeno desejava ser um escritor e por isso ele lia muitos livros. 

 Quando ele cresceu e completou 13 anos, o José começou a escrever histórias, e assim aos 14 anos ele fez uma pequena bancada no jardim da frente da casa dele, para expor as histórias que ele tinha escrito aos 13 anos. 

 O problema foi quando as pessoas vieram ver as suas histórias, foi aí que tudo mudou, porque as pessoas começaram a rir-se e a dizer ao José que as suas histórias eram horríveis. 

Once Upon a time, a boy named José who from an early age wanted to be a writer and so he read many books.

When he grew up and turned 13, José began to write stories, and so at 14 he made a small bench in the front garden of his house, to expose the stories he had written at 13.

The problem was when people came to see their stories, that's when everything changed, because people started laughing and telling Joseph that their stories were horrible.

 Ele ficou muito triste e envergonhado, por isso ele pegou nelas e correu para o quintal detrás da sua casa. José não podia ir para dentro, porque a sua mãe estava lá com a sua chefe, por isso correu tão rápido que tropeçou em algo, num livro. 

 Quando ele se levantou, pegou o livro e leu o seu título «O livro Mágico». O título era estranho, mas ele começou a lê-lo. Subitamente adormeceu e caiu no chão. 

He was very sad and embarrassed, so he picked them up and ran to the backyard behind his house. Joseph couldn't go inside, because his mother was there with his boss, so he ran so fast that he stumbled upon something, a book.

When he got up, he took the book and read its title "The Magic Book". The title was strange, but he began to read it. Suddenly fell asleep and fell to the ground. 

MAGIC BOOK

Quando acordou viu que já não estava na sua casa, e por isso ele começou a chorar, a gritar, mas ninguém o ouviu, até que uma senhora veio ao seu encontro e disse-lhe: «-Acalma-te e vem comigo», o José acalmou-se e foi com a senhora que o levou para uma tenda. 

José perguntou-lhe como se chamava e onde estavam. A senhora disse que se chamava Ana e que eles estavam no planeta criado por ela.

When he woke up he saw that he was no longer in his house, and so he began to cry, to scream, but no one heard him, until a lady came to meet him and said: "Calm down and come with me", Joseph calmed down and went with the lady who took him to a tent.

Joseph asked her what her name was and where they were. The lady said that her name was Ana and that they were on the planet created by her.

Ele sentiu-se confuso, por isso a Ana explicou que aquele mundo existia, mas só o conseguia ver quem lesse o livro ou quem começasse a lê-lo, e que o planeta se chamava «O planeta da Literatura». Depois daquela explicação, o José ficou feliz por existir um planeta da literatura pois ele adorava escrever e ler. Foi então que a Ana lhe deu muitas ideias e temas para as suas histórias.

 He felt confused, so Ana explained that that world existed, but only anyone who read the book could see it or anyone who started reading it, and that the planet was called "the planet of literature". After that explanation, José was happy that there was a planet of literature because he loved to write and read. It was then that Ana gave her many ideas and themes for her stories.

Quando anoiteceu no planeta da literatura, José recebeu uma mensagem de um número anónimo a dizer que era tempo de voltar para a Terra e que para voltar ele tinha de tocar no livro de ouro e pensar na sua casa. Ele contou tudo a Ana e ela disse que o iria ajudar. Eles caminharam muito até que finalmente chegaram. O José despediu-se da Ana e prometeu-lhe escrever várias histórias. Ana ficou feliz e também se despediu.

When night fell on the planet of literature, Joseph received a message from an anonymous number saying that it was time to return to Earth and that to return he had to touch the Golden Book and think of his home. He told Ana everything and she said she would help him. They walked a lot until they finally arrived. José said goodbye to Ana and promised to write her several stories. Ana was happy and also said goodbye.
