To all my friends from Turkey, Italy,
Romania, Croatia and Poland:)

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess, as in fairy tales who had black hair, blood red lips and a fine white skin and whose name was Emma.
She had a very bad father with whom she was arguing every day. Instead her mother was very ill and she was dying.

One day, on the way to the stall, Emma met a goblin and he told her: "I heard your mother is dying. I can help you with a cure for the disease."
"Of course, I would do anything, just tell me what to do." The goblin gave her a dry colourless rose with only three petals. The creature told her what to do. After she got home she put the rose into the vase full of water which she placed in her mother's room. She looked after the rose for four days.

The four day passed very hard but finally came the fourth. The rose blossomed as if by magic. A dazzling loight came out of the little rose.

Her mother felt better. And then a fairy came out of the dazzling light and said to Emma: " The goblin saved your mum but he sacrified his life for her and now he is dying. A long time ago she helped him to escape fromthe monster and he wanted to pay her back. If you face three challenges you can save his life. The first challenge you have to loof for a flower which is hidden in a magic forest.

Emma couldn't believe what she saw: the bees were very grateful and they got together in the shape of an arrow, which led Emma straight into the forest and pointed to the right flower. As Emma picked the flower the fairy reappeared.“You made it! You were very kind to the bees, but now you have to pass the second challenge”.

Now she had to find the witch. This would be easy because there was only one house on the top of the mountain. She ran and ran and finally she arrived at the house and knocked on the door. The witch opened the door. He said :”I knew you would come.”He invited the girl inside and started to tell her what she must give him. “You must give me two things. I want your most valuable possession. The second thing was you have to give me a souvenir of your mother.” The girl answered:”I would give you anything but just give me the right red rose!” The girl remembered her mother’s necklace and your grandmother’s ring. She gave both to the witch. The witch took these items and gave her the right red rose. The girl returned happily to the fairy. The fairy said:” Congratulations you passed the second challenge, too.
