The Dead Sea  - Jordan

The Dead Sea, also called the Salt Sea, is a salt lake bordering Jordan to the east, and Israel to the west. Its surface and shores are 427 metres below sea level, Earth's lowest elevation on land.

 The Dead Sea is 306 m deep, the deepest hyper saline lake in the world. It is 9.6 times as salty as the ocean.The Dead Sea is one of the saltiest bodies of water on Earth, with almost 10 times more salt than ordinary seawater.

 This is because water flows into the Dead Sea from one main tributary, the River Jordan. The high salt and mineral content of the Dead Sea mean that this body of water has powerful healing properties. The Dead Sea is a popular international destination for the medical tourism industry.

 The rich concentration of minerals in its water and mud, zinc, and oxygen-rich air has been clinically proven in the treatment of psoriasis and other skin diseases, asthma, rheumatism, high blood pressure, and more.

                             Karak Castle - Jordan  

Karak Castle is a large Crusader castle located in Al-Karak, Jordan. It is an ancient Crusader stronghold which sits 900m above sea level and lies inside the walls of the old city. Today, it remains the largest, best-preserved castle in Jordan and one of the largest crusader castles in the Levant

Inside, there are tunnels, dark chambers and dungeons, and vast, arched-roof stables to explore which makes it very adventurous to visit.

 You can walk along the crenellated top of the West Front wall and admire the sweeping view. On clear days, you can look across the Dead Sea and see all the way to the Mount of Olives bordering Jerusalem.

The castle also includes the Karak Castle Plaza, an archeological museum, Mazar Islamic museum and the Prophet Nuh’s(NOAH) Shrine.

So, visit the mesmerizing and beautiful Karak Castle to make up your day.

Unesco declared it World Heritage site and it is one of the seven wonder of modern world. 

Petra is a pink city carved into the rock, halfway between the Gulf of Aquaba and the dead sea.It is at 1400 metres above sea level.

You can go there only through a narrow path.

                          Dana Biosphere Reserve -Jordan

Amidst a charming natural atmosphere that brings peace and comfort, the Dana Reserve in Jordan is located on an area of more than three hundred square kilometers, making it a destination for nature lovers and observing wildlife patterns.

 In Tafila Governorate (180 km south of the capital Amman), the reserve is located, which is the largest in the Kingdom and the only one among 9 reserves that includes three geographical regions, from the Mediterranean region to the Sudanese influence region, and extends from its high mountains to its sunken slopes in the earth.

It was established in 1993, is unique in its biological and biological diversity, as 833 species of plants have been recorded in the reserve, three of these plant species are recorded for the first time in the world and bear the name Dana within its scientific name, and 38 species of mammals have been recorded, i.e.

Approximately 50 percent of the mammals in Jordan.

  215 species of birds have been recorded, equivalent to 50 percent of the birds in Jordan, including endangered species, such as the brown eagle and the black eagle, as well as 38 species of mammals, some of which are threatened with extinction, such as mountain
