SORA

     Sora was dashing through the bedding of the pet store cage. She looked around for Turnip and Mochi, she hadn't seen them since she was taken to this mysterious place covered in blankets of light. She ran back toward her other sister Olive. "Why didn't you follow me? I was trying to show you my pile of seeds! " Sora asked with a stern look on her face. Olive turned around and gave Sora her 'since when?' face. "Im too busy, runt." Olive insulted. Sora whimpered and ran to Chip, her food-obsessed twin. She saw him gobbling up the last pieces of her stash. "Hey! that's my pile!" she squeaked stubbornly, digging her claws in the bedding. "...Mmhhbbpphh mmmmm mmmph," He mumbled. Seeds spilled out of his mouth. Sora zipped away crossly, and dug deep into her burrow. 

Turnip

   Turnip saw Mochi's nose poke out from one of Turnip's newly finished burrows. Of course, since Turnip was in a bad mood without Sora, she thought about biting Mochi. She concluded not too, mostly because she didn't want to get Mochi in a bad mood. "You really shouldn't wake up Mochi while she's sleeping; it won't end well." She remembered her mother say. She nodded in respect for her lost mother, off at some other pet shop. Tired and  hungry, she crawled off to her large food stash and stuffed her cheeks. Lately, she'd been eating a lot from grief and depression with her loss of Sora and the others, and also fear that the food would be stolen. She forced herself to smile, grateful that she at least had the food.

Mochi

Mochi sniffed, sensing that the pet store employee had refilled the food. She stumbled out of the burrow, caving it in and ruining it carelessly. She hobbled to the dish and stuffed her cheeks quickly. Mochi then waddled back to her burrow stolen from Turnip, and wiggled in. She snuggled up to her sunflower seed pile and squeaked in delight. But her delight soon turned to surprise as she felt something on top of her. "Turnip?" she mumbled. "Is that you?"  She soon heard Turnip reply, "Yes. Can I join you? I'm awfully hungry and tired." Mochi, being her naive self, said yes.

Chip

Chip stuffed his cheeks to the limit with sunflower seeds while his sister Olive waited behind him, rolling her eyes. "Hurry up, you pig!" Chip smirked, "..Fffbbb mmm mmmph."  He quickly stuffed all of the food into his mouth and scurried off. "All yours!" he squealed around the seeds. He scrambled into a burrow and unloaded the nuts in victory. Chip called over Rollie to feast and run until the sun!
