"Lori! Come downstairs! Were going to miss the plane!" Mom yelled as Lori could smell the fresh toast from the toaster and fried eggs. Dad walked in to make sure Lori was getting up but...OH NO! He tripped and fell on my brother's toy dinosaurs. "OUCH!!!" Dad yelled as Mom ran upstairs to see who yelled. "John!" Mom said looking concerned. "Dad! Your coffee!" Lori pointed to the big, wet, brown liquid on the carpet. "HAHAHAHAHA!" Lori's brother Kyle, standing in the doorway laughed so hard his hat nearly fell off. "How dare you laugh at your father like that!" Mom yelled. "Geeze. Sorry, sometimes you just gotta laugh." Kyle said as he turned around and left the room. "Alright, now we really need to leave for the plane now,"
"How long of a drive to the airport?" Lori asked. "10 minutes," Dad said. "Ooook," Lori said stretching. "Were here!" Mom said. "I CALL WINDOW SEAT!" Lori yelled. "NOOOOOOO!" Kyle started stomping. "I WANT THE WINDOW SEAT!" Kyle yelled. "I SAID IT FIRST!" Lori yelled back. "Stop it, you two!" Mom said madly. "Fine," Kyle said still stomping. When Lori found empty seats raced through and sat in the window seat. "Aww, man," Kyle said sitting next to Lori. "Excuse me, waitress? Can we get the lunch special?" Dad asked. "Yes, it will take a couple of minutes." Said the waitress. "Ok, thanks," Dad said. "I'm hungry, too." Kyle whined. "Oh, shut up. I haven't had ANYTHING to eat today, at all." Lori said.

Mom
Dad
"We are arriving in France. Please stay still while we get down from high airs. Thank you." The lady on the microphone said as we slowly flew down from the sky. "Lori, look! There's the Eiffel Tower!" Mom said pointing at a sparkling sculpture. "We have landed, unbuckle your seatbelt and leave through the exit door on the left. Thank you." The lady said again as we unbuckled. "Let's GO!" Kyle yelled running to the exit door.
Kyle ran as fast as he could and pulled Lori with him. "Kyle! Stop!" Lori yelled trying to let go. "Fine! I just wanna make to the new house quick!" Kyle said now running up to Mom and Dad. "Let's all hold hands so we don't get lost in the airport." Mom said grabbing Lori's hand. "Let's go!!!" Kyle ran as fast as he could trying to pull Mom and Dad. "Come...On...Let's...Go..." Kyle was pulling so hard his hand slipped and he fell on the concrete. Once they made it through the airport, they jumped into a taxi. "I'm bored," Lori sighing. "When are we going to make it to the new house?" Mom asked the taxi driver. "Half an hour." Said the taxi driver. "Fine." Lori said. Once they got to the new house they had ALOT to unpack.

As Kyle and Lori started to unpack Mom came in. "Lori, Kyle, it's time for bed. Look at the time," Mom said quietly. "And don't forget, your going to your new school tomorrow. Get some rest, Lori." Mom added, as she walked away. Lori looked at the time it said 10:34pm. "Kyle! It's time for bed." Lori said to her brother. "I'm not tired." Kyle said with a big yawn. "Kyle..." Lori said. "Fine." Said Kyle as he started to climb up the ladder to the top bunk. "Oh, you think your going to sleep on the top bunk?" Lori said raising an eyebrow. "Well, yeah. Why?" Kyle said. "No, I slept on the top bunk when we lived in Canada. So...Why can't I do it again?" Lori asked. "Ok, fine. You can sleep on the top." Kyle said as he laid down.
Lori who had no idea how to fall asleep with so many thoughts about her new school, decided to open the window to get some fresh air. Then Lori got back in bed and tried to fall asleep. But she couldn't, there was a sound on the bedroom carpet that sounded like paper fell on it. Lori got to her feet and looked around. She stopped looking when she found a envelope sitting by the window. Lori quickly opened it, feeling the urge to see what was inside. She opened it and it read: In great pleasure I call you in happiness, indeed. As I Madam Francee head of France Lemperance School, say I am pleased to say your a part of my school. Please come to meet me at the front doors at 7:00am sharp, thank you Lori H Katt. -Sincerely Madam Francee

Who was Madam Francee, and how did she know Lori's whole name? Lori thought, as she put down the letter. Lori yawned and got back in bed. A couple hours later, Lori looked at the clock which said, 6:47am. Right then she remembered about the letter that said to be at the front doors of Lemperance School 7:00am SHARP. Lori quickly got dressed, brushed her teeth and hair, as she picked up her bag and left the house as fast as she could. Lori looked up Lemperance School on her phone on Gaggle Maps to see where to go. Lori raced around alley ways and buildings, when finally she made it, and sure enough a short plump French woman was standing by the front doors. "Bonjour!" The woman said with a smile. "Hi." Lori said.
"You are..." "Lori Katt." Lori finished the women's sentence. "Oh! Yes, yes indeed!" The woman said giving a big smile to Lori. "I am, Madam Francee." Said the women grinning. "Wow, you're the one who sent me that letter!" Lori said, looking up. "Yes, my dear! Your understanding it all!" Madam said handing Lori a box. "You will need this." "What is it?" Lori asked Madam as she started to shake it. "Ahem, well it's from me as a gift to you." Said Madam. "Well that totally explains it." Lori said shaking the box some more. "Open it." Madam Francee said. "Ok, ok." Said Lori as she quickly tore the wrapping paper. "Oh my goodness!" Lori said looking at it at all angles. "It's a crystal ball!" Lori said, right then when she got a puzzled look on her face.

Dancing Celebration!
"Oh! Yes, you know!" Madam said. "But, why do I get this?" Lori asked looking at Madam. "Well, you need it as a thank you gift for joining my school." Madam said, looking at Lori. "Oh," Lori said looking around. "What's the Dancing Celebration about?" Lori asked. "It's where a French dancer goes on stage to try and win a prize. So far she's won 5/6 of the celebrations." Madam explained. "What's her name?" Lori asked. "Her name is Meela Meckcorrvie." Madam Francee told Lori. "Oh." Lori said. "Your parents know you're here, correct?" Madam asked. "Oh, um." "That was a trick question, of course they know you're here!" Madam said laughing. "Really? How do you know?" Lori asked Madam. "Well, we've known each other for decades!" Madam said.
"How?" Lori asked Madam. "I am your Dad's brother," Said Madam. "But..." Lori said as Madam finished. "I know, you haven't known me or anything. But, understand this." Madam said looking around as she went to a whisper. "Understand what?!" Lori asked loudly. "Shh!" Madam said lowering her voice some more. "If you know what a secret school is then this is that secret school..." Madam said. "Oh, thaaaat's why this school is hidden behind buildings." Lori whispered back. "Yes, there's only 70 kids in this school. "WHAT!?" Lori yelled. "That's so many!" Lori said again. "Shh. 200 or 300 is what most schools have." Madam said looking around once more. "Don't tell anyone. Understand?" Madam asked. "I won't I promise." Lori said.

Dancing Celebration!

"Boo!" Said somebody behind Lori. "Aaaaaaaaaa!!!!" Lori said jumping forward. "Hehehe, didn't mean to scare ya that much!" Said the girl. "Who is she?" Lori asked Madam. "Her name is Jen. She moved from Tennessee two weeks ago." Madam said. "Hi!" Jen said to Lori smiling. "Oh, hi. I'm new." Lori said. "Oh, it's ok." Jen said. "Look at our shirts! Their the same!" Lori said pointing. "Yeah!" Said Jen grinning. "Want to be friends?" Jen asked. "Um. Sure!" Lori replied. "Want me to show you around?" Jen asked. "Oh! Yeah!" Lori said following Jen. "Wow." Lori said looking up at a crystal chandelier. "Yep!" Said Jen.
"I'm going to go explore." Lori said walking toward the cafeteria. There was the fresh smell of baguettes and ham and cheese, all the spices you could dream of was what Lori was smelling. "Mmm," Said Lori breathing the smells in. She went to look at class rooms, when she found a golden sign by a door that read, Mrs. Bagroff Grade 4, I think that's the class I'll be in... Lori thought spacing off, when all of a sudden the bell rang a huge group of running students ran through the hall as fast as they could to the cafeteria for lunch. "Uh oh." Lori said, getting bruises from the older kids pushing her aside. "OUCH!" Lori said rubbing her leg. "Sorry!" Said an older girl with her name badge that said, Marla Walkenberg.
