To/For all the sea creature lovers who want to make a change for the underwater animals and my family (mom, dad, grandparents, cousins, uncles and aunties)
- Srishti

Alyssa was a beautiful young 10 year old girl. She had long ginger coloured hair and blue eyes that were the shades of the ocean which flashed brightly. Alyssa always had her little grey kitten, Misty with her. Misty had always cheered Alyssa when she was down.

One fine Satarday, Alyssa was strolling around the house, bored. "Do you want to clean your room?" mom asked Alyssa from the kitchen. "I've done that, mom! Stop asking me that a thousand times!" Alyssa replied. "Okay, chill! Do you want go snorkelling?" mum tried again, chopping a few carrots. Alyssa was about to reply no when she stopped herself. "Sure! It's time to go snorkelling!" she said, racing to her room.

Alyssa quickly changed into her swimming clothes and wore a bath robe on top. She packed her goggles, her towel, her waterproof camera and more in a big pink backpack. She could hardly wait! Alyssa ran out of her house, carrying her backpack behind her.

At last, Alyssa dived inside the big ocean. Alyssa loved snorkelling even though it had been tough to adjust. She spotted some beautiful coral and fishes hiding behind it. She instantly took out her waterproof camera and snapped a few photos.

Then Alyssa saw something shocking! There was a poor sea turtle with a plastic bag stuck on it's nose and there was also a little fish with a plastic bottle stuck to it. In fact, the whole ocean was filled with plastic!

Alyssa was devastated. She swam off, trying to pull the plastic of the innocent creatures, but failed. So, Alyssa decided to go home and figure something out after she snappped a few pictures of the plastic catastrophe for proof. "I'll help you guys somehow." she whispered and went back home.

The next day (Sunday), Alyssa chatted about what had happened yesterday, with her parents. "I understand this can be hard for you, Alyssa." dad said. "But, the best solution will be to make signs and stop the plastic to save animals." mom added. Alyssa nodded. "I will do anything to save the animals. Can you do it with me?" "Of course!" Alyssa's parents replied.

That morning, Alyssa started making signs that say "SAVE THE UNDERWATER ANIMALS!" or "How would you like it having plastic on your nose, face, everywhere?"
