Once upon a time, there was a girl called Maha. Maha was like a usual girl, except that she couldn't draw very well.

Everyone in her class was an expert at drawing, but Maha. That made Maha very sad. Maha did not tell anyone that she was horrible at drawing, fearing that they would not like her. Maha's mom and dad knew that Maha was not an expert at drawing and thought she didn't care because Maha had always acted as though she didn't, but deep down, she did care.

One day, Maha was going to school on the bus and she sat down next to her BFF, Sabita. "I've got a surprise for you, Maha since it's your birthday day after tomorrow!" Sabita said. Maha had totally forgotten that it was her birthday day after tomorrow! "Come to my house day after tomorrow in the evening!" Sabita added and gave a secret grin.

The day was interesting for Maha. Except when Mrs Clog, Maha's class teacher asked them to draw a friend that they're thankful of, and of course Maha's drawing was a bunch of scribbles even though it was supposed to be Sabita.

I was drawn by Maha and I'm a bunch of scribbles.
But then, Sabita asked Maha if she could show her drawing! Then Maha said something clever. "Sorry Sabita, but my drawing is a surprise!" Maha said, stammering. "Oh okay." Sabita replied suspiciously.

The day ended as all the students hopped on the bus. "Actually Maha, I've made your surprise tomorrow because I just can't wait." Sabita squealed. Maha nodded and couldn't help smile shyly.

The next day went casually. Running to catch the bus, finish school and come back home. But today, Maha was going to Sabita's place for a birthday surprise. She dressed up and bolted all the way to her BFF'S place. Sabita was so happy to see Maha!

"Come inside Maha! Oh please hurry up! And look here! I've got drawing pencils, markers and papers. It's time for a drawing competition!" Sabita said. Maha stopped as her sweat trickled down her fore-head. Her hands shook and her eyes were wide as though she had seen a ghost. "Are you okay Maha?" Sabita asked, concerned. Maha was still with her mouth open and her eyes wide. "Should I call my mom?" asked Sabita as Maha silently replied no.
