The Proclamation of 17631763Land past the Appalachians were reserved for the
Native Americans. The British wanted to prevent a war
with the Native Americans. The British made tight
control of everything.
I would stay on the east side of the Proclamation
Line so if I need help I can get it

Sugar ActThis act put a 3 cent tax on foreign sugar and
increased tax on coffee, indigo, and certain wines.
Merchants didn't like this and were very vocal about it.
I would boycott these items until they are untaxed or
lowered in price.

Quartering ActQuarter means to give a soldier shelter and food. The
quartering act made colonists require to put soldiers in
your home. Colonists were mad and felt they were too
controlling.
I would obey them and let the soldiers in my house
because if not I could get arrested or worse.

Stamp ActPayed taxes on most printed material.Colonists
thought that there freedom had been threatened
because they had no say in the acts.
I would protest on letting us have a say in acts and
not let them just happen.

Townshend Act1767British put a indirect tax on imports and suspended
NY meetings until the quartering act was obeyed.
Colonists boycotted british goods.
I would also boycott these items because if the British
don't get money, they will have to stop the act.

Boston Massacre1770Boston colonists began harassing troops. In
retaliation, they opened fire on a crowd killing 5 and
injuring others.
I would have ran away because i wouldn't know if
more were coming to kill us.
