What is Minecraft
Developed by Mojang Studios, Minecraft is a sandbox video game that was created by Markus “Notch” Persson in Java/Bedrock programming language. In Minecraft, players can chop wood, dig for materials, plant food, craft tools, and build structures, earthworks, or simple machines. Depending on the game mode, players can fight computer-controlled mobs, cooperate or fight other players and build humongous structures. These game modes include survival, creative, multiplayer, and hardcore. Players can modify, or recreate, to create new gameplay mechanics, items, or assets.

Mining
Dig, dig, dig! Mining underground is really fun and surprising. There is only one rule, though. Never, ever dig straight down. You might fall into a pit full of lava or soul sand or you might fall into a ravine or even worse, a place full of mysterious monsters that can kill you. You might just want to dig a staircase down; it is WAY safer. And with that, I wish you a fun adventure in the deep!

I think I found diamonds!
Farming
There are eight different food crops in the game: melons, wheat(wheat seeds), kelp, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, sugarcane, and pumpkin. You can dry kelp to eat it, you can make sugarcane into sugar, you can make wheat into bread, and can eat potatoes, beetroot, and carrots right on the go! Sugarcane can be planted on sand or dirt that is near the water. It will grow up to 3 blocks high, and when you harvest it, you can break the two blocks above the first block to replant it. Kelp has to be planted underwater, will grow to the surface, and has the same method of harvest as sugarcane. You have to till the ground with a hoe for all the other crops to be planted. If you place water next to the tilled land, that is hydrated farmland. Hydrated farmland looks browner than un-hydrated farmland. Hydrated farmland crops grow faster and get more rewards than un-hydrated crops.
Building
Building is an essential and fun part of Minecraft. There are some rules to building though. Rule #1: USE DIFFERENT BLOCKS. Using the same type of blocks just won’t add that spark to the build. Rule #2 (this rule is for houses): THREE BLOCK HIGH WALLS. This will make the house become more spacious or less high-looking. Rule #3: NO TORCH SPAM. Lighting up the room is a good thing, but why spam torches? I expect more of you. Rule #4: ONE BLOCK CENTER. What do I mean? I mean the center roof has to be a block wide. And the 5th and final rule: NO FLAT WALLS. It is WAY more interesting with no flat walls.
Fighting
Whether it’s PvP, fighting mobs, or just killing pigs for pork chops, fighting is probably the most important TTD (things/thing to do) in Minecraft. It is a way to show who you are, and how good at fighting you are.
And with that, we’ll start off with our first and biggest topic:
PVP
Everyone needs weapons in PVP against other players. So, let’s first talk about swords. A sword is a good and common weapon and is used in melee battles. A sword will do more damage per second than an ax and slightly more knockback than the other melee weapons. An ax, however, deals slightly less DPS than the sword but has slower attack speed and less durability. A trident is used for both melee and long-distance combat. A fully charged bow can shoot 64 blocks upward and can deal more damage than a diamond sword!
