1. Being engaged with the students to not only increase the students attention, but also have the students critically participate in the lessons material

2. Incorporating aspects of social-emotional learning, physical activity, gross-motor and fine-motor skills within general curriculum

3. Consistently incorporating, acknowledging and recognizing other cultures, holidays, and crucial historical events

4. Supervise classroom to ensure safety and well-being of students

6. Preparing and delivering lessons to classes of different ages and abilities

7. Working alongside the curriculum to create lessons that cater to students’ individualized behaviours, interests, passions and strengths.

9. Encouraging student’s learning of new topics by utilizing semi-challenging activities and providing instructive and appropriate feedback to guide them to success

10. Working alongside other individuals within the same profession to aid and encourage one another in ways that will ensure success for both students and teachers
