Princess Pop
By: Ann Hollis Sanders

Once upon a time in a magical place, where
the grass was bright green, animals talked,
there were dragons, fairies, unicorns live a
beautiful princess. There in the magical
kingdom, Athea, was the princess. Her name
was Princess Ponalopina Partic Penoslimc
Pzolarmy (but people call her Princess Pop
for short!).

She was kind, careful, sweet,
strong, joyful, humble,
dependable, hard-working, and
most of all brave. It was once
said that she fought 4 dragons
and 3 trolls at the same time and
ended up slaying them all.

Most of the time she was all
around happy, but there was
something deep inside her heart
that was ripped, torn, cut.

When Princess Pop was 9 years old her
father, the king, got taken away by an evil
queen. Since then her mother had been
ruling the kingdom. Out of her 5 sisters she
was the oldest, which meant she was first
in line for the throne.

In Athea you got to do two special
things when you turned 16. The first
thing was a tradition. When anyone in
the royal family turned 16 they could
rule. And the next one was a law. If you
were under the age of 16 in the royal
family you could not leave the castle.

When Princess Pop turned 16 she had a
grand birthday party! Everyone in the
kingdom was invited. They had
everything there from a swimming pool
to 10,583 Ritz crackers.

While Princess Pop was taking her fair share of
some birthday cake, she bumped into this boy.
His name was turned out to be Pat Ploxmrni.
He was an 18 year old who was very
handsome, with his blonde hair, blue eyes, and
olive skin. He was very sweet, gental, and
caring too. But most of all, sharing the same
characteristic as Princess Pop, he was brave!

Hi!
Hello!
As the night went on they chatted a bit( ok, a
lot!). They found out they had a lot in
common, like how they both had 5 siblings,
how they both grew up in the castle( he was
the head soldier) and how they both lost a
family member.

I kind of like her!
I kind of like him!
But the whole night Princess Pop and Pat were
thinking the same thing... I kind of like
him/her.

Well when the big birthday bash came to an
end Princess Pop and her best friend Payton
slept over. She told her all about Pat and how
she had fallen in love with him. But Princess
Pop also told her her plans for in the morning.
Since she was 16 she was going to leave the
castle to go find her father. Payton wasn't sure
about this but she knew her best friend was
never going to change her mind.

So early in the morning Princess Pop
announced to the sleepy kingdom her mission,
everyone was confused. People said, "Why
would she just leave her kingdom, the only
place she has ever lived, and go and wander
off into the woods?"No one knew the answer
but there was no stopping Princess Pop, for
she was the queen know and she could do
what ever she wanted.

When the news got around to Pat he could not
believe it. He thought it would be one of those
fairy tale endings that they live happily ever
after, but insted she is leaving him.
