
Cracow, Capital Royal City of Krakow - a city with county rights located in southern Poland on the Vistula River, the second largest city in the country in terms of the number of inhabitants and area. The formal capital of Poland until 1795, the coronation city and the necropolis of Polish kings.

Cracow is located in southern Poland, in the central-western part of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship on the Vistula River. Cracow is located at the junction of several geographical regions: the Cracow Gate, the Oświęcim Basin, the Sandomierz Basin, the Zachodniobeskidzkie Foothills, and the Cracow-Częstochowa Upland.

Cracow is one of the oldest cities in Poland, with many valuable architectural buildings. In the past, the city belonged to the Hanseatic League associating the most important trade centers in Europe.
Until 1795, Cracow was formally the capital of Poland, and until 1611, the seat of the rulers of the Polish state. It was a royal city of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland.

Wawel Royal Castle - a defensive and residential castle in Krakow, on the Wawel Hill. The estate is home to the State Art Collection - Wawel Royal Castle, a museum with an area of 7040 m² with 71 exhibition rooms.
Main Market Square - the main square of the Old Town in Kraków, regular, square, at the intersection of 11 streets, marked out in 1257 north of Okół and its foreground; to the east of the Main Square, the Small Market was marked out.
Polish Aviation Museum - a museum in Krakow located on the site of the former Rakowice-Czyżyny airport, collecting exhibits related to the history of aviation development. The number of currently exhibited aircraft exceeds 200. The museum publishes its own publications and organizes educational events.
Kościuszko Mound - one of the five mounds in Krakow, dedicated to Tadeusz Kościuszko, is located on Mount St. Bronisława in the western part of Krakow in District VII Zwierzyniec.
