A long, long time ago, far in outer space the sun, the moon and all the planets were lined up in a row. They stayed quietly beside each other for centuries until one day the Moon and the Sun had an argument with each other.

They were quarrelling about who was the best celestial body in the solar system. 

“Of course it’s me,” said the sun, "I provide planets with light and warmth. What more do they need?!

The moon, on the other hand, insisted that she was most important. “Without me,” she added, “no one would see anything at night. Space is a dark void when the Sun is not around,” she laughed

The Sun continued,“You know that I am the best in the solar system, because I am bigger and stronger than you are.’’ 

But the moon would not give up, “You’re just lying to yourself, you know that.

 “There are plenty of stars out there bigger and brighter than you, but there is only one moon so round and small, and that is me!’’

“I can barely see you down there,” laughed the Sun. 

“You might be bigger, but you can’t move,” concluded the Moon.

“Who needs to move,” exclaimed the Sun, “no one moves around here!””

The Sun and the Moon continued to argue, getting more and more mad at each other.

Finally the Moon stated, “Just admit it, I am the best!’’ 

Frustrated, the Sun blurted, “Just stop already. What can a tiny little rock like you do in comparison to a large star like me?” 

The moon began spinning around the Earth just to annoy the Sun. 

“What are you doing Moon,” shouted Earth, “you are giving me a headache. Stop arguing! You two are so loud even Pluto can hear you,’’ added the Earth. “I can,” piped in Pluto.
