This is Maria and little Maria is sad. She is sad because she doesn’t have any friends. She wants to go up to the other kids and make friends but she’s too shy.
This is Storm The Bunny and Puddles The Penguin. They are Maria’s stuffies.

Storm and Puddles watch as Maria is sad in her room. They want to help her make friends so she’s not lonely and so she’s not sad anymore.
But they are just toys, they can’t move and they can’t speak. How can they help her?
That night there’s a bright star outside. As Maria sleeps soundly in her bed, Storm and Puddles wish hard on the star.
Suddenly the toys start glowing and sparkling as they start coming to life!
Storm and Puddles look at each other in amazement. “Woah!”, exclaims Storm, “We can move and talk just like Maria!” “yeah!”, shouts Puddles,
“And now we can help her!”. Storm smiles and nods.
The next morning Maria wakes up to a surprising discovery. Her toys are standing on her bed, smiling at her. Storm and Puddles wave at Maria. Maria rubs her eyes.
She couldn’t believe it! “You’re alive!”, she exclaims. Maria smiles. “I now have friends!” She happily declares.
“We are alive to help you make friends!”, Storm tells her. Puddles nods in agreement. Maria smiles. “Yay!”, she exclaims. She then thinks to herself then looks at the toys.
She tilts her head to the side. “How can you help me make friends?” The toys smile. Puddles then tells her: “we can help you not be shy anymore!”
