                          Introduction

       Hi, My name is Amber. I am writing a story on a    

particular subject that devistates me. Dog fighting has 

been around for a long time. It used to be by accident. 

You would be walking about the streets your dog 

catches sight of another dog, And the dogs natural 

instinct's would be to chase,attack,or growl. But now a 

days people are training there dogs to fight others and 

then bet on who's dog is going to walk away alive. But 

the real question is. Is it really right to force your dog to 

fight another? No! Of coarse not, But some people don't  

understand this and still continue making there dogs 

fight. This is why we need to put an end to this.

            Chapter one 

            The training

      It is a sunny afternoon in Nebraska's and a dog by 

the name of spike turned one today witch means its 

training time. No not the commands your thinking of like 

sit, or stay. The kind of tricks spike is learning is kill, or 

attack. Why you ask? Well this dogs owner Mat is a dog 

fighter. He has lost 10- 15 dogs over the year, But this 

dose not stop him from getting revenge on that darn old 

Damian his dog won against his Star pit bull lucky. Mat 

thinks he has it this year so he is training spike extra 

hard. They will begin with tug of war. If 

Spike dose not prove he is stronger that Mat in 

this challenge he gets one whip this shows 

Spike that Mat is the leader. Hit after hit Spike 

finally proves he is stronger. They move on to 

the next command, But spike is ehausted and 

is laying down. Mat shouts at Spike telling him 

to get up. Spike continues laying down. Mat 

kicks him not knowing his spine is sprained 

from all the whips. 

            Chapter two

              The fight

      It was not until another dog was brought in that 

spike was up and alert. Mat turned his head to see 

Damian staring him straight in the eye. " Your hear a 

day early" Mat said.Damian looked at spike " This is 

what were going against. Ha you don't stand a 

chance". Both dogs were put in there corners. Mat 

looked at Damian and then back at spike. He thought 

for a second " Is this really worth it"? All bets were 

placed on the table. "Ding" the bell rang the fight was 

on Spike and the other dog start circleing around each 

other with there teeth showing an druel
