Jason stood in the door way looking at Charlie and
back at King.
"well time to go and find the moose." Jason said
Jason set off up the river always ready for
something to come into site. 20 miles up the river
night was falling and Jason knew King was begging to
become hungry. He set up a fire and cooked some
salmon for him and King to eat.
After eating, Jason noticed king sitting on his
haunches, and growling fiercely. Jason got up to
investigate with a torch to see. After five minutes of
looking he didn't understand what King was uptight
about.Then He saw. There was a bear den sitting in
front of him. Right away he broke a dead tree and
started to poke the bear. No site of anything in the
den.

Jason tried again and again until he felt something
with great mass. The ground started to shake and the
bear came straight out charging for King. Jason through
his hatchet. and hit the bear in the throat. The bear fell
to the ground, but was still alive. Jason got his rifle and
ran over to King. He sat there till, out of nowhere came a
bear cub. Jason fired at it but missed. the cub attacked
King.
Jason ran towards the bear with the hatched and
whaled away on the bear. Finally the battle was over.
King was laying in the snow. Jason ran over to see that
king might not live. King was all full of blood and had
deep cut wounds. But Jason hoped King would pull
through. Jason hiked the meat and King back to the
cabin.

When Jason opened the cabin door charlie was
sitting at the table playing cards. When Charlie realized
that Jason was back, he saw King in his arms and
started to cry, and ran to him. Charlie grabbed King and
sat him by the fire.
Charlie asked Jason what had happened. Jason told
Charlie everything. After telling what happened, Jason
went up to the cache to store the bear meat .
Many months have passed, ans King was getting
better. In fact so much better that he was up and
running. Jason came into the room. He said
"Charlie you better pack up break up is soon, and
please get king ready while i pack the meat to the
canoe."



Charlie did so.
when everything was loaded into the canoe they set off
on the ice covered river. Later in the day it began to get
dark, when he rounded a corner and saw the golden city

Chapter 25
The Golden City


Finally Jason had made it to the golden
city.
Right away he put King on a tie out, near the
canoe. Jason and Charlie went to find his
brothers. When Jason was looking around he
saw a building that read Abe And Ethan Inc.
Jason ran inside to see a old friend Jack,
suffering from sever scurvy, but my brother
Abe was near him in a doctors suit.
Jason ran over to his brothers and asked what
had happen to Jack. Abe and Ethan couldn't
talk. They Where scrambling to ask Jason
questions about how he got there that they
forgot about Jack, laying on the bed sicker
than a dog.Jason asked to go see the creeks
where the gold had

gold been found.
After looking at the creeks, Charlie was mired in the
thick black mud The mud was like quicksand.
When they got Charlie out of the mud they went to a
roller derby arena to watch the races. As they took there
seats the first race was on. There where many wipe outs
even one so bad that her helmet fell of and Jason
thought it looked like Jamie. But Jason knew from the
hair it was. Right after the races Jason rang to the back
to find Jamie in a dressing room. Jason ran in and
Started Jumping for joy.
Jamie looked puzzled and called for security. Jason
tried to explain who he was, and then she remembered.
Jason went and had coffee at Her cabin. After, he had
coffee he went home, but on the way, he gathered
supplies for a super big secret. The next morning Jason
went down to
